The saddest thing is that he barely touched on federal and state grants for resources to help feed the cycle. "Look, we arrested all of these people so we need money for helicopter training!" Whatever, I'm in too good of a mood (re: tipsy) to go off on a rant.

I'll leave with saying that a judge on the east coast was sentencing high school kids to juvenile prison on absurd offenses like mocking teachers on Facebook because they needed the help money is fucking crack to evil fuckfaces like that.

I bought a box of 75 drawstring trash bags figuring I won't have to worry about trash bags for at least a year. I opened it up just now and it's full of the tie trash bags. I mean, trash bags are trash bags but that is some bullshit. Like ordering a Long Island Iced Tea and getting a Shirley Temple >.<;

We just bought a really small trash can, and we just use grocery bags from stores in that. We have to take out the garbage more than most (by "we" I mean "I"), but it's free. I'd rather spend money on something I can eat as opposed to a trash collector.

I got my evaluation at work, which is basically a yearly raise. They grade you on a bunch of things.

Needs development - Quite obvious, you need to do better.

Solid - Basically an average grade.

Exceeds - Better than the average.

Role Model - great worker, helps others learn

Like I said you're graded on a bunch of things, and you need so many exceeds to get an exceeds raise, solid raise, role model raise, etc...

I got solid on everything. Fuck you. One of the things is "knowledge of product". I know more about electronics than everyone in the fucking store and I constantly have to help other associates who give wrong information. Such bull shit. Now I would have never have gotten enough exceeds or role models to get out of a solid, but it's really the principle of the matter. Fuck you, assholes. I'd like to see you help a customer even 5% as much as I do.

It's been my experience that almost nobody gets the best possible grade in any area of any annual evaluation for any company I've ever worked for.

That sucks, Bret. Is there any sort of program you can enroll in that would lead to being head of electronics or something? I mean, if they obviously don't want to give anyone more than the least possible required, look for other avenues.

Side Note: I'm going to try and track down that evaluation sheet so I can see how terrible of an employee I am to myself. I think I'm a decent boss but I'm pretty sure I'm the worst employee working for me. I'd rate the UPS guy and the computer parts shop around the corner higher than me. Hell, the Korean doughnut shop too.

Those things are a scam anyway. If you get so high you might get like a 30 cent raise. Ohhhh a whole 30 cents. When I could just go where I work now and gets 6 bucks more per hour. For easier work with people who are actually half decent and where the workload is actually somewhat proportional to wages (my workload was multiple times higher than any standard cashier at wal-mart. I was literally expected to be in 2 places at once.)

For serious though, Blu-Ray and video games CEs have been increasingly more and more insane. Especially when they hide all of the content across multi-tiered releases. The Jamie Foxx head thing is OK with me if they have other versions that don't skimp on extras like alternate scenes and making of. What's not OK is when I want to buy The Wolverine with extended or alternate scenes and the packaging literature tries its ass off with double-talk to confuse me.

I read another S.W.A.T. story. This time the victim got arrested for weed. Three things about this piss me off:

1. The person who called in the false alarm should face serious punishment and fines out the ass.

2. The fact that a S.W.A.T. team is readily available anywhere in the country is fucked up beyond belief. *ahem* Ferguson *cough*

3. The victim gets arrested for weed because, you know, we got all this S.W.A.T. justice out all ready so might as well use it. And weed is devil parsley that leads to crazy. At least that's what Reagan told me.
