You guys know how I started shit with Greenie because of miscommunication? Well, that shit is apparently rampant with me. With Greenie, I understood how I flew off the handle and needed to apologise for my bad attitude. This neighbor shit is beyond that.

The people who are shitty to their dog decided they don't like a motherfucker calming their dog down at 4am and weilding a MAGLITE. Neither the fuck would I which is why my dogs are inside my fucking house eating biscuits and drinking water. Not barking and cowering behind broke ass vehicles.

They told me the dog was fine. Yeah. That's why it barks at 4am and cowers behind your fucking hoopty. I'm probably lucky it didn't escalate because I really hate county jails. They aren't fun and nothing like the movies.

So I just read that Hobby Lobby won its case 5-4 in the supreme court over corporations having freedom of religion. Now corporations are people, have freedom of religion, and pay little to no taxes. While small businesses are taxed out the ass and are still required to have health insurance options. God bless America.

And the poverty line is so fucked. After taxes, me and the wife are well above the poverty line which makes me question just what the fuck our government considers poverty. I'm sorry but middle class hasn't been $50k/yr for over two decades. Meanwhile on capitol hill corporate lawyers are redefining shit in favor of forever fucking the average American. For fuck's sake, I pay a higher tax percentage than these millionaire "Lawmakers".

And to be clear, I don't mind freedom of religion. I love it like I love my country. Hobby Lobby does not have my rights. They are a fucking corporation and should never have my rights as an American. Just like all religious institutions should pay the same damn taxes I do if they want to drive on my roads and use my public facilities.

Windows 8 is fucking with my keyboard and mouse all the fucking time now. I tried to fix it with what MS recommended and it ended up rebooting the whole system deleting a bunch of my data. AND THE PROBLEM STILL ISN'T FUCKING FIXED

i had a problem with my mouse when i installed the driver for it. It's working now thankfully im not sure how tbh. It made middle click default to something i never want to use too something that shows all your open windows which is usuless since you can just roll over them on the task bar, and i was screaming trying to fix it.

I think Windows 8 is pretty okay (still not good though) once you get all the shit working right, however it can be a fucking pain in the ass to get your shit working. I'm still afraid to update this thing after the shit i went through with it the first time

Mine has the keyboard take me random places unless it's a letter which doesn't fucking work at all while the mouse only highlights everything and won't go onto the tabs I already have, but make new ones instead. This only happens for about a minute or so, but it does it every five fucking minutes and I'm so fucking sick of this.

I want 7 back. 8 sucks so fucking much.

Make sure all of your settings are set to normal and not the fucked up shit 8 has as default. And turn off the pain in the ass, fuck your shit up Windows Update. Finally, go d/l the latest working drivers from the manufacturer sites since you built your rig piecemeal.

If all else fails, run hijackthis and email me the results log or post it on the hijackthis site. I really hate 8. I spend more time fixing its unnecessary bullshit than anything else.

I do feel your pain though and with 8 it could be so many fucking things. It could honestly be something that has nothing to do with your keyboard like Office being constantly checking for updates. That's how fickle of a bitch 8 is.

This may help, Greenie: 8 no longer has accessibility because is now "Ease of Access Center". Still in the same spot though.

Start > Control Panel > Ease of Access Center > Keyboard

And then turn everyting the hell off. Shut down and then power up (not restart). If that helps, yay! That's my version of "ain't no gas in it". If that doesn't work I'll help this week. I just couldn't relax not posting this. I hope that's it because my Surface took a full day to get calibrate. But I had to do the stylus and that made me want to hit shit.

That was one of the first things I tried. This affects my keyboard and mouse though, so it's definitely not that. There was an update installed though so I'm testing it right now to see if this shit's fixed. Fucking Windows 8...

Windows 8 felt like a Bethesda game on launch day when i first got my computer. It's almost a beta test bad, and this computer is fucking brand new. The updates really helped mine, but i have them set to manual so i can check what im downloading and when im downloading. Apparently windows update can fuck up your computer by installing updates for shit you dont even have

I had the keyboard/mouse problem when I installed a new power supply and graphics card on a computer. I think the card was AMD but don't hold me to that. Anyways, go to AMD site(or whatever your card is) and get the latest drivers and device management software if available. I used the device management software to iron out a few wrinkles (it walks you through it) and the problem was solved on reboot.

Since you built it yourself you may have to update to 8.1 first and then download and update the drivers from the manufacturer websites.

Also, install the shareware hijackthis, CCleaner, and Auslogics Disk Defrag.

To recap, in order:

1. Update to 8.1 and make sure your automatic updates and settings are still set to have 8 prompt you for changes and what startup programs you want (which should be very few).

2. Update devices like the graphics card and follow the instructions. Reboot.

3. Download and run, in order, CCleaner and Disk Defrag.

Hijackthis should only be needed if this doesn't work.

*edit* I'm not saying you haven't done all of this, just being clear about what worked for me. All though I still ran Hijackthis and had to delete a bunch of shit and change a bunch of programs but I do that with every service.

I already fixed it. And set Windows 8 since it would never ever ever install an update again. And found my saves. So I'm good.

I don't computer game, it's just not for me. So if you're a computer gamer I can understand why you would get a windows computer. However, I've had my Macbook Pro for 4 years now and have only had to power it down because of freezing 2 or 3 times. My trackpad is touchy because I was a dumb ass and left a window opened and it got rained all over, but other than that it works like a champ just like the day I got it. The last Windows computer I had didn't even make it 2 years and I was constantly having to power it down. Whenever I have to use that shitty Windows 8 at work I just get furious that it even exist. I'm not bragging or trying to start a fight, just explaining why I switched from Windows to a Mac. I've had 3 Windows computers over my life (4 if I count my girlfriends HP bought hers around the same time I bought my Macbook, with similar specs and it only lasted 2 and a half years and she looks at no porn while I look at plenty!) and they just never last and constantly have problems. I'm glad I don't ever want to do PC gaming though, because then I'd be sad and would have a void.

Glad you got it figured out greeny and hope it stays fixed.

People here rarely use blinkers. And the speeding up thing so you can't change lanes is so expected I don't get angry. I can literally predict when someone is going to cross 3 lanes of traffic, without a blinker, right before a stoplight a mile before it happens.

But to add to the driving conversation: People on the highway who speed up when they see merging traffic. Get out of the fucking merge lane, slow down, or stay the fuck off the highway.
