I went to my grandmother's house for Thanksgiving. We had lasagna and turkey, so I obviously opted for lasagna. Got to see my aunt/godmother who I don't get to see often anymore. She's hilarious. Her dog is actually my dog Jak's brother. First time I'd ever met him, so that was neat. Will post a picture in the picture thread when I can.

I'm just on for a quick bit before i hit the sack so I can go in tomorrow from 7-4. Just wanted to say that we got 12 PS4's and they sold out instantly, and we got 30 X-Box One's and 4 hours later when I left we still had 19 of them.

Both went on sale at 6 PM and I went home at 10 PM.

I think I'm finally caught up on sleep from Black Friday weekend now so I'm back. I wish I had entertaining stories but everything went really smoothly, the people at midnight were actually very pleasant and walked in the store nicely and calmly and we only let in about 25 people at a time to avoid crowding the store. Not like last year when everyone was trying to push the door open at 11:59 haha.. We even had enough PS4s and Xbones for everyone who waited in line for one. Worst thing that happened was when I answered the phone around 6am, my mind went blank and I couldn't think of our greeting so I just laughed uncontrollably.. ugh. Oh well :/

I bought myself Rayman Legends on Wii U since it was only $25 and my parents were nice enough to give me some money for the Metroid Prime Trilogy since I really wanted that too. I played a bit of it and can't believe I never got into that series before, exploring myterious space ruins and planets is just my kind of thing.

Thanksgiving was pretty nice too but when everyone was sitting outside a fucking spider crawled on my neck and bit me.. Yeah, it was tiny but it was a SPIDER. I HATE SPIDERS *cries*

Is the whole Black Friday thing really as bad as it seems over there? Obviously all that ever seems to surface are the clips that just make you want to gun down everyone involved but surely it's not that crazy for the most part, right?

I've only ever driven by the parking lots and every single one is packed beyond belief. I'm sure it's insanity considering the people doing it obviously have never heard of shopping online. Closest I've come to seeing it is when I was doing the shopping for Thanksgiving dinner and an 80 year old about broke a hip trying to beat me to a checkout lane. I Cadillac everywhere so it was pretty entertaining to me. It was like something out of a Far Side cartoon.

Trust me, it's pretty horrible. It really depends on the store you go to, but the big stores are unbearable.

Honestly, Bret, were you selling anything at such discounts that it couldn't be found elsewhere for around the same price any given day of the year? That's what boggles my mind about the insanity. I don't know, I think some of the deals our stores have are pretty good deals. 32" TV for $98, guaranteed in stock for an hour. iPad mini for $299 with a $100 gift card, also guaranteed in stock. Brand new games like GTA V, Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, and NBA 2K14 for $35 (some other stores were roughly the same price, and I understand you can get them cheaper every now and then, but still a good price for how new they are). Some of the movies I listed that I got for $4 on blu-ray were good deals (argo for example). Also, there's a bunch of $10 games that are good games. If I do it (which is rare since I normally have to work), I can get a lot of my Christmas presents out of the way for really cheap. Also all iPhones get $75 gift cards and Androids get $100 gift cards, so they're practically giving money away since you can get some phones like the iPhone 4S and Galaxy S3 for $.97.

I know you like Best Buy psiddy, and just like Best Buy wal-mart will price match so I'll also have my girlfriend get all of the presents I want for cheaper so that way I can get more. Got new Ratchet, Tearaway, and Puppeteer for $70 total when all 3 at full price would be $110. That $40 saved just means more presents for me! It has perks, but it also has a lot of lows as well.

It definitely is an "experience", but you will leave it hating mankind.
