Re: Chat Thread
Went to MCM in London (Convention full of cosplays for everything along with a shit ton of anime and video stuff). Attack on Titan cosplay EVERYWHERE, you couldn't not see them in every direction you looked. Thankfully 80% of them were insane good looking women and the Titan survey corp outfits are badass as fuck, so the entire day was extreeeeeeemely easy on the eyes.
Also I spent £130.
£15 of it was on Evangelion merchandised canned coffee with a tiny Rei fig holding a can of it. I don't even like coffee.

Man you guys always get such cool stuff. I'm tempted to set up some sort of secret santa thing on this forum because almost guaranteed to get something cool.

If we do that, just a warning: I'm sending whoever I get Sonic 06, Assassin's Creed 3, Crash Twinsanity and/or Bomberman: Act Zero in a box otherwise full of coal.

Yeah. It's supposed to be convenient for work and home users. You log into your account and it auto-saves onto the cloud so that when you complete something from home, you can access the word, excel, powerpoint documents at work, as well. I'd rather use Google Drive for free than pay $99/year for the Microsoft version.
Re: Chat Thread
I'd have to think about already planning on giving someone here a gift anyways, and im pretty sure i cant really afford that XD
EDIT: but i might do christmas cards some people from twitter are doing that. it would be an excuse for me to draw something.

Re: Chat Thread
I'd do it but I'd need to make sure whoever has me does not send me Assassin's Creed 3 as a gag gift (looking at you Spiddy).

Went to a design festival in Tokyo yesterday. All amateur artists selling their wares. Bought loads of little postcard-sized prints to stick up on my wall. Will print up some pictures of it...at some point. Saw weird things as well, including dead rat jewelery, dead animals and jars, things that were replaced with doll faces. Also a startling number of plastic food jewelry...things.

In order for that to work on me she has to pretend to drop the bill and bend over in front of me to pick it up first. I have standards.

Secret Santa? Now's a chance to offload my copy of Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Even the fire doesn't want it...

Re: Chat Thread
So I looked back on my AC3 stuff during my rage and...I think I may actually hate the game more now. I honestly expected for me to think how out of control I was even though, you know, fuck that game. But it all seemed like perfectly reasonably proportional reactions to the shit in that game. I really was not expecting that considering how pissed off I was after beating it. And even if you read my stuff, just ask Killa, it was worse than I could put into words.

Re: Chat Thread
I actually recall you saying positive things about AC3 even into the Connor section on Twitter when you were playing it Greenman. I mean you seemed to be enjoying it for four or so hours before you turned on it right? I just remember being surprised you were liking it.
Re: Chat Thread
I was trying to find some positive things in it because I'd been waiting so damn long for that game and didn't want it to be disappointing. Around the time you were riding with Paul Revere I realized just how even the good stuff I'd said I was enjoying wasn't that good.

Re: Chat Thread
Yeah that makes sense. I know I've done that with games. The fucking Paul Revere part. Man that game was fucking goofy.
Re: Chat Thread
When you and your crew do another episode of Unknown Connection, I can imagine a 10-minute AC3 retrospective where you do nothing but scream into the mic.volvocrusher wrote:So I looked back on my AC3 stuff during my rage and...I think I may actually hate the game more now. I find I do that with movies a lot. You WANT it to be good so bad but you just can't lie to yourself. Last game I did that with was FFXIII I think. I wanted it to be good so bad, I wanted to have a new Final Fantasy game that didn't suck...but alas, it did.

I'm glad that weak easy to knock over child stopped crying.
Sometimes when I'm at work and they stare at me I'll give them mean glances if their parents aren't looking.
