I really hate being tricked into clicking on an internet article only to have it be a video. There should be a universal "fuck you and your stupid video" button on every website. And then it would be used for evil and not the greater good...

IGN is probably the worst with it. Almost every link is a video of a bunch of dipshits with bad humor jerking each other off. Yahoo! Sports is a close second.

Haha. I hate when I click through and get a video too. I usually mess about on the internet while I'm watching TV or sports or even listening to music, so I don't necessarily want to be watching a video. Much prefer reading an article.

I've been in the habit lately (I don't know if it's a good habit or not) that if I find myself just browsing pointless stuff, youtube etc. I'll start listening to some sort of history/technology podcast instead. That way...still being lazy but at least I'm learning, right?

Yesterday at 930 my power went out. It has been out for 24 hours. Minus a temporary period when it was on for about 15 minutes. I was so excited to play my PS4 I turned it on and shortly after the power started to flicker. Hopefully when it comes back on it works still. When I turned it on the first time the light was white and it entered safe mode. Hopefully everything is all right when it finally comes back.

My two days off have either been spent in the cold, or at my future mother in law's house. I was expecting to really play my PS4 and that hasn't happened at all. Last night the power came back on in the middle of the night, but when we awoke it had went out again. It's really frustrating because everyone around us seems to have power but our road. What'll probably happen is the power will come on right before I go to bed tonight, angering me very much.

Severe wind storms. Went out 9:30 PM on Sunday and it is still out now and it is 5:30 PM Tuesday. The worst part is that it has come back on twice for like 10 minutes, only for it to disappear. If it was on days I work I wouldn't care. Today I sat under 10 blankets and played Chrono Cross on my Vita until it died. I live in an area where we get no service for any of the carriers so my phone dies super fast. Last night it got down to 50 degrees. Let me stress the cold doesn't bother me, but the fact that I have a PS4 sitting there wanting me to play it grates my nerves like none other.

I applied to McDonald's and Walmart for a job just now. Walmarts application was literal hell, and McD's was. "Where did you go to school?" "are you a sex offender?"

Hoping i can get something soon i want to buy gifts for a few people at least.

Wal-Mart's is ridiculous.  Somehow stupid people still manage to get through it.  Where you apply is right next electronics and people always ask questions on how to do it.  Blows my mind how stupid people are.  Funny stupid Wal-Mart customer story....

So you know the photo machines where you put your memory cards into them to print the pictures?  They're all touch screen monitors that take SD, mini SD, memory stick pro duo, compact flash, etc.... cards.  Well one time, a woman was sitting there, and she was trying to put quarters into the memory card slots.  Why do humans still exist?

Both of those things are hell on earth and I hate them. Interviews are really shitty though because I can never find the words I want to use and just stumble over myself constantly, although I seem to be doing that more and more in every day conversation.

Anyway, good luck Kay! I worked as a cashier at wal-mart for about 6 months. If you can ignore how stupid and shitty people are it's a really easy job. Or just make fun of dumb customers here, that should be entertaining.

Interviews are the worst, I get so nervous and awkward and probably say all the wrong things.

Ha, I just spent my whole day at work interviewing people! Hiring really sucks and no company likes doing it. In my experience they just want to find someone remotely qualified as quickly as possible so they can move on to the next thing that needs to be done. It's super time consuming, it costs a ton of money and its just as awkward to interview people as it is to be interviewed by someone. I do like going through people's resume's and applications and laughing at the shitty ones though. But that's just because I'm a terrible person.
