Now Playing

I seriously haven't been playing much of anything. I have occasionally been playing Spec Ops which I can take for about 30 minutes at a time. I want to get back to Dead Space 2 and finish it. My cousin is coming to stay with me next week. He borrowed 1 from me and loved it then played 2 and it'd be cool to chat with him about it. I'm excited to see him. He is kind of like the little brother I never had and thinks I'm cool for who knows what reason... haha. We'll probably playthrough some game co-op while he is here. Not sure what though.

Dead Space 3 would have been perfect, but EA just had to make it online only.

I've been on a huge Counter Strike kick again the last few weeks. Global Offensive specifically.

CS Source is still one of my favorite games, but god GO was a disappointment. The amount of modes and options it had is something I expected from a beta, not the full game. And no ice world! How can Counter Strike exist without an ice world?

Weren't the consoles of GO supposed to get some support? I am 95% sure I read that they were. Valve really let me down there

Just played the GOW Ascention demo...that's the death of that series for me. I really liked 1-3...but just playing the demo there just wasn't the same amount of love put into this.

First ofall, played it on a HUGE projector screen and I still couldn't see what was going on. Who's bright idea was it to make the color of Krato's chains attacks the same as the enemy's attacks? The camera too, which normally isn't a problem in those games just wasn ot well angled. The new combat editions felt...not needed and kind of hard to follow what they were going for.

AND, WHO PUTS A FUCKING UNSKIPPABLE INTO VIDEO AT THE START OF A DEMO ESSENTIALLY SAYING "PLEASE ENJOY THE DEMO" AND THEN ADVERTISE SOMETHING ELSE THAT'S UNRELATED FOR THE HISTORY CHANNEL?!?!?!

God of War: Atrocious more like.

I played the current gen. It might look better than what you played, but that's probably about it. Not very good.

Not the whole game, just the co-op. unless I got bad info and it does have split screen.

I thought you meant the game in general... Thankfully, while co-op does require online play, it's not exactly a SimCity situation...

Yeah, EA totally botched the whole SimCity release thing. That was (is) a train wreck.

Beat Tomb Raider yesterday. I was impressed by how good it was but I cant help but think its really not a Tomb Raider game. Doesnt matter that much though because I enjoyed it. Feels good to actually be finishing games again haha. Not sure what I want to play next though.

Oh man, Greenman, you were right. Elite Beat Agents is awesome. Addictive as hell.

Told you. Sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice putting that above Portal 2, Resident Evil 4, and Halo 2 on my favorite games list, then I just remember that it was up there with Pokemon and Kotor in how addicted I was. A little warning though: You will get the urge to throw your DS at more than one point while playing. Don't act on it.

JUST got to that point. OMG SO HARD

Is it true that there's licensed songs on Elite Beat Agents?

Been playing some more Scott Pilgrim, leveling up Kim. She's close to being my favorite playable toon. I like the cut of her jib.

Playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus for a review. The game itself is awesome, tons of weapons that are mostly a blast to use and great combat. It's just a shitty port of that. 30 FPS with some bad bits of slowdown every now and then and graphics look like shit for a few seconds every time you get out of the menu. I'd recommend the PS3 version personally, but it's still an awesome game.

Man...I'm on the last boss of EBA...which is sad because it's been very fun. It's just oh so short.

Actually, the three different difficulties add a lot of replay value to it. You'll want to beat it as every agent.

Yeah, they're the same songs, but there are a lot more beats added. The harder difficulties are also the only way to get a high enough score to unlock the three bonus songs. One of them's "ABC" by the Jackson 5

I realized the songs used aren't the actual songs just very well done covers. Shame...
