Re: Now Playing
I finished up Saint's Row 3. Good sandbox game. Doesn't have a terribly interesting map. Some of the missions designs are pretty shit which to be honest kind of always happens in sandbox games. My homies seemed to get downed a lot in some of the later missions which combined with somewhat lazy throw a ton of enemies out there parts in those missions made them more annoying then they should have been. Also catching on fire... blech. Otherwise it was a good time. Has a good sense of humor. Some fun side missions. Lots to do and unlock. Will probably pick up the fourth game at some point down the line. Might continue on and do some of the side missions, but with Rayman looming this might just get pushed to the side. Glad I gave it a go though. Very fun.
Re: Now Playing
As much as I love Mass Effect 2 combat in the hammerhead is shit. Trying to get those data packets on insanity is a fucking pain the ass in order for the cannon to hit you have to stand out in the open and in place, and if your out in the open like that for more a few seconds youre dead. FUCK THAT SHIT
Re: Now Playing
Been playing Splinter Cell Blacklist. Campaign has been great so far, and I've played some coop with friends. Played with Killa last night! We had so much fun. It was challenging, but not impossible, which I think is perfect.

Re: Now Playing
It was really fun playing with you Fufu!!! Like Fufu I have been playing SC Blacklist (360). Really enjoying it so far. Also been playing a bit of DOTA2 with Matt, Casey and AJ. Im getting better at not just rushing in and dying all the time but I still have issues knowing when to use certain moves and figuring out what items to purchase. As I play more I think I will start to understand how the game works.
Re: Now Playing
I bought Atelier Meruru Plus cause its my favorite Atelier game, and Meruru is so fucking adorable, and I'm playing that along with Mass Effect 2, and FFXIV. I'm playing a JRPG, a WRPG, and an MMO GOD HELP ME!
Also beat Ducktales. The way they played the TV show theme during the credits made me squeal and giggle like a little girl. I need to watch the show again now.

I liked his design in Meruru best. He's still got nothing on you though <3
Re: Now Playing
Hmm I prefer him with shorter hair so his Totori design is still my favorite. More Sterk is always good though

15 hours into ME2 and the only major story objective i've done is recruiting Mordin. How in the hell?! What am I even doing.

Exactly how much time have you spent staring at Miranda's ass?Kayshire Cat wrote:15 hours into ME2 and the only major story objective i've done is recruiting Mordin. How in the hell?! What am I even doing.

Re: Now Playing
Has anyone here played Klonoa on the Wii? I noticed my Gamestop had a used copy in really nice condition for $10 and I was tempted to buy it but wasn't sure if it's any good. At that price I should probably just get it but I'm being a cheapass.

Re: Now Playing
I'd just buy it for you if i could, but its kind of hard for me to buy something from a store on the other side of the country lol. I don't really trust buying used online from gamestop either.
The only experience i had with that series was the PS2 game which was pretty fun. It reminded me of Kirby not sure if the Wii one is the same game or different, but I'm certain it would be something you'd like the one i played anyways.

Medal of Honor Warfigher was $6 so I thought I'd see how bad it really is. Nothing, and I mean, NOTHING can prepare you for how bad it really is. You need to download HD textures, the game froze on me before it reached the title screen, and the tutorial has you shoot targets through a model of the inside of a plane as the Jihad. And I was laughing my ass off the whole half hour I played.

Re: Now Playing
It would be fun to have a meetup with people on this forum, rent or hotel room somewhere and then play shitty games and drink for a weekend.

I remember Warfighter was one of those crappy games my boss tried to hype up before it released so he told customers some BS story about how a live demo was so realistic he had to walk away because he was shaking from bad memories from his military days or whatever. He was never in the fucking military and I'm glad the game ended up being so bad :/
That's all I needed to convince me, thanks spiddy!pspiddy wrote:Klonoa on Wii is really good. $10 is a jump price.

I agree with Bret. Your boss sounds like a complete douche. I would punch him in the face just for posing as a military member, if I could.chocobot wrote:I remember Warfighter was one of those crappy games my boss tried to hype up before it released so he told customers some BS story about how a live demo was so realistic he had to walk away because he was shaking from bad memories from his military days or whatever. Re: Now Playing
Football season started at my workplace this week so any gaming I've done during the week was on my Vita. If I'm not trying to unlock stuff in Rayman Origins, I'm getting addicted to Stealth, Inc. It has that "one more level..." attraction.

Re: Now Playing
I still need to get that. Once I'm done with Rayman and then Puppeteer, I will grab that to keep the platformer train rolling.
Re: Now Playing
I started AC3 after downloading 12GBs of it then found myself turning it off within the first hour or two.
PRESS CIRCLE TO INTERACT, NOW WATCH THIS CUTSCENE, NOW WALK SLOWLY NEXT TO THIS PERSON BECAUSE OUR STORY IS SO GOOD, NOW LOOK AT ALL THIS EMPTY ENVIRONMENT WHICH DOESN'T SUIT OUR GAME AT ALL.
AC is the most wasted potential of a series I've ever seen. It makes me angry.

It's not fucking hard, Ubisoft. You set it in fucking Victorian London/Somewhere in Asia like everyone has been asking for for fucking ages, you combine AC1s system of doing tasks to make the assassination easier with AC2s missions, you ramp up the difficulty (Even if it's just with an option) so there's an actual level of tension along with a need to play it stealthy and avoid combat, you make there be a load of dynamic shit happened during the assassination mission based on what tasks you done before hand.
Or you could just set in the middle of the fucking ocean because you want to make Pirate's Creed instead and make even more shit.
