i'm getting a 2DS for my birthday but i might have to pay a little on it myself + i want Pokemon X/Y with it so I've got that to worry about now. Might get KZ vita sometime down the line though.

As far as i know yeah it is. I honestly prefer the 2DS design to the 3DS, and I'm almost certain the 3D would make me sick. The price is right too should get my parents to pay off most of it as my birthday gift.

I was actually really happy when it was announced making a 3DS without the 3D really gives me no reason to not get one anymore. My worries about what the 3D would make me feel like were the main reasons keeping me away from it. Yeah yeah you can turn it off but I'd rather just not have it there.

Why in the hell would i spend an extra $40-70 just for a feature that im not gonna use and is going to make me sick? I rarely play my handhelds outside of my house unless I'm using it as a music player or for like twitter which i have a vita for. It's lack of portability doesn't bother me either, and I already said i just dont want the 3D option I'd rather it just not be there, I'd rather the system not fold. Still don't get how its even at all hard to understand.

Calling 3D the only worthwhile part of the 3DS is asinine. People are buying the system because it's getting great games, not because it has 3D. That's why so many people who hate 3D own one.

@Avid, Bret - I'll hit you guys up for some Killzone fun or vice versa. Vita has party chat so yay! I was hoping more peeps would jump on it so we could do a game night. Whatever's clever.

As far as the 3DS thing goes, I totally know what Kay is saying. Being colorblind, I get vertigo from that shit. Although I do like how it folds up even if it is a little awkward to use.

My biggest worry about the 2DS is the shoulder button placement relative to the rest of the controls.

I would like to get Killzone Vita, but I'm all over Puppeteer this week.

Yeah, I want a 3DS (eventually) and I fucking hate 3D, that said, I don't like the slate design of the 2DS one bit.

I second what Greenman says. The 3ds has the second best games line-up of the year for me behind the Ps3 (not counting PC since it has an absurd amount of games every year for obvious reasons.)

All things considered, the 3D is actually a pretty minor feature for me. But I feel guilty every time I don't use it, haha

I'd love to have Puppeteer as well, but I think I will have to wait on that one. Maybe get it for cheap during the holiday sales as a Christmas present from the lady or a present to myself. When I think about all of the money I have to spend for a wedding it just makes me want to cry.

Ha ha, expect many patches. Whenever Killzone has a new game, they're always patching to fix little bugs. It's a good thing in the end. Just wait until there's maps and you have to install more. You probably didn't find me on because my cousin who is Vitaless made me play PS3 games with him. I'll probably getting on for a bit now though, but I won't be chatting because I'm next to my sleeping girlfriend who has a big cosmetology test for state boards tomorrow. She'd kill me faster than a Helghast.

I just finished the last of the side missions in ME2. Should have the platinum by the time i finish Arrival (I'm doing that last on casual so i can get the stupid Brawler trophy easily. I got everythng else on Insanity on my first run through the PS3 version. I feel no shame) Have to do the last 3 missions and then Arrival and I'll have it wrapped up.
