World of Warcraft sends you reminders of how long you've been at one session every hour. I think they're just one-liners in the chat/message box, though.

Most games seem to give incentives for sleeping the system. Bravely Default gives you magic turn stopping super powers for every 8 hours the system is on sleep. STOP DISCOURAGING ME FROM ENJOYING YOUR GAME!

You are right. This game is amazing.

I decided to buy Tomodachi Life tonight because I needed some stupid fun. I haven't done much beyond move in my apartment along with my first neighbor, Squall. I caught him rolling around on the floor and he says he isn't sleepy at all tonight in that weird robotic voice that makes me laugh every time. I don't know why this amuses me so much. I can't wait to create more characters and witness some crazy love triangles >:D

Everything about Bravely Default makes me happy. It's everything I've wanted Final Fantasy to be for a while. And yeah, I get it's a throwback, but the characters are simple yet solid, the bad guys are simple but established and threatening...I'm entertained, the battle system is awesome...good times.

Also, just stupid things like being able to adjust the encounter rate on the fly makes playing the game a so much nicer experience.

To me the biggest improvement is technically a small one, and that's the villain. I'm not going to say it unless you've made it without knowing the villain, but the villain is awesome. Best villain ever, right up there with Sephiroth in my books.

Decided to pop in my copy of Saints Row IV I bought last week for cheap and four fucking hours later, its still downloading updates. I know its been out for a while with multiple DLC packs, but god damn... its a bit much.

I wish we'd get the option of updating DLC/patches. Hard drive space doesn't come easy.

Bravely Default is a pretty badass game. It's my favorite 3DS game so far (well, maybe A Link Between Worlds) and it's a strong contender for GOTY.

Just finished Ratchet & Clank Future: ACIT. Very satisfying. There were some moments that infuriated with the boss battles and they both involved the hoverboots (weird, since I love them). I think I kept screwing up my landings but on the last boss fight it takes trial and error I think.

I guess this leaves Into The Nexus. I'm keeping my saves for these past two Future games with the intention of buying them someday and doing the new game plus mode. One of the things I find I love about playing these games is how the combat gives you plenty of moments to level up your weapons; it's a grinding system that I had no problem working through.

The space battles were well-designed and I liked the radio stations (the Pirate Radio station in particular). I like the opportunities for exploration, to find those bolts and Zonis and to just take in the vistas, because they are amazing, even for a game this old.

I finished up Layton 4. It was fun, but I just don't have the patience for the brainteaseres I used to. Ending was kind of sad too. I plan to go back for 5 and 6 at some point, but not right now.

The PSN sale for Rainbow Moon was still going on Thursday (don't know if it still is) but I picked up the Vita version for $4.89. I didn't think I was going to like a grind-heavy SRPG (because I've struggled so much with Final Fantasy Tactics) but right now it's a blast. Probably a case of easy to get into, hard to master but it looks/sounds great and the combat is easy to learn. I'm not sure if choosing the hardest difficulty (which is something I never do) was a smart thing but that seems like the mode the game prefers you to play.

Anyway, last time I checked both the PS3/Vita versions are under $5 with a lot of DLC still on sale (mostly extra money for those who don't want to grind).

Played some of the Destiny alpha. Damn this game is fantastic. It works so well both as a co-op and a competitive shooter. Played quite a bit of both with Neph today and had a blast. A few kinks I hope get ironed out, but other than that I can't wait for September.

All that Arkham Knight footage made me start-up Arkham City again. I'm back to collecting Riddler trophies, solving those damn riddles, doing whatever I can to raise xp and upgrade equipment and combo bonuses. Then I'll start the Harley Quinn DLC and then possibly star the new game plus. I should have enough time.

Oh, what the fuck, I had to start Just Cause 2. Why do I do this to myself?

I mentioned this on Twitter already, but I have been playing Jak 3 on the Vita. And while there are some issues here, I am just finding it cool as hell to be playing my favorite game on a portable. There is just something kind of neat about it I guess. I don't know why, but it is cool.

I was so ecstatic when Final Fantasy VII was finally playable on the PSP so I know the feeling. When it released I never thought I'd be playing it on the go and now it's possible. Hopefully they do Ratchet so we can have Up Your Arsenal on the go.

I believe the Ratchet trilogy is coming to Vita next month in Europe and Australia, but a NA release date has not been confirmed.

There really is something magical about having your favorite game on a portable. Playing FFX on the Vita felt like the best thing ever and I can't explain why either.

I want Knights of the Old Republic on Vita so bad. But having Crash Bandicoot on both the PSP and Vita, hell even Kotor in iPhone, were all pretty magical events.

I bought Kotor for my ipad but the damn thing heats up so much if I use it for too long. I'd love to have it on Vita too, that would be much better. Much more magical.

volvo, I remember when you all tipped us about Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games being downloadble for the Vita, but I don't think they are downloadable anymore so make sure you don't delete it for memory card space.

Basically it was an error on Sony via update hence why they weren't on the store, just the download list. I'm going to blame Activision for this.
