The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I wanted Neph to start this because who else is better enough to start this thread? But since he hasn't, might as well do it myself. Like before discuss about trophies you are currently working on, which ones you remember being tough, and platinum trophies you have or are planning to get. Also feel free to discuss about Achievements so we can only have 1 thread dedicated to this stuff.

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
PSABR's trophy list is pathetically easy about as hard as Tekken 6's. If i have time I might try plating it twice lol.
Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
Neph is gonna flip if he hears that lol

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I still haven't gotten the All Star plat because I find the arcade mode dreadfully repetitive and boring at this point and have used all the characters I'd want to. I'd never be able to do it twice or is this one of those games where you can sync it over to Vita and all the trophies unlock? I'll get the PS3 one eventually. I just need to do like 5 more arcade modes.
Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I'm only a few arcade modes away from getting the Vita plat in All Stars, but I agree, it is awfully boring. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so long.

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I don't mind the arcade modes until i get to characters i don't want to play as like fucking Fat Princess. I'm completely okay with going through all the characters that are fun to play as though.
Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
There better not be a way to sync the PS3 ones over and pop up for the Vita, because I've already put too much time into the Vita trophies. only like ten more to go or so.

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I went back in. I have Toro to do who I don't even know if I've used. Plus, Fat Princess and Sweet Tooth who I have little desire to do. But I am close. I did the Tekken guy's tonight. Whenever my friend comes over and plays the game he always uses him because he thinks the bear is hilarious. The bear is pretty sweet I must say.
Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I actually like Heihachi, pretty good character. Fat Princess isn't so bad as well. Toro on the other hand is like playing with a nightmare. I cannot stand that character.

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I'm working on defeating God of War 3's Titan difficulty. Once I have that, the platinum is all mine!
After that, I have my eyes set on A Crack in Time. I have everything except the hard playthrough and the other mode (can't remember what it's called).
These have been years in the making. But I'm gonna make it happen!

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
Right now I'm working on Sonic Generation's platinum, it seems easy, it's just finding those Red Rings on the levels that seem annoying, and the challenges. I also wanna try my hand at RDR's platinum, though I'm not liking some of the things I have to do for some trophies.
I also have a copy of Hitman Absolution that I won at 1up that I haven't played, gonna get to that later on.

I always remember the ones from Deadlocked. "If Ratchet was a tough cookie, what kind of cookie would he be? I'm going to go with snickerdoodle."

KERBLAM!
God of War 3 Platinum... *Phew*
A few observations - of all the bosses in the game, I found the Ice Scorpion, and the stupid goddamn cerberus at the second visit to the Three Judges to be the hardest battles. They were just ridiculously hard. Any battle is hard when you throw in endless waves of obnoxious fodder foes. Died more on those two then anywhere else in the game on Titan.
Three years in the making, but done!
*- Now back to your regularly scheduled Dead Space 3.

Much like the conclusion of Toy Story 3, I will indeed finish Dead Space 3, and then I'll give it to a small child who will appreciate it like I once did.volvocrusher wrote:Bannen wrote:KERBLAM!

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
Fun fact (that will annoy Neph) almost ALL of the games I beat I beat with about 54% of the achievements on a first play through (and then never bother increasing it). It's just weird...it's always REALLY similar numbers. I must play games in very similar ways on a first playthrough I guess...

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I'm pretty much the same when it comes to that. I never check trophies before playing a game for the first time, if I beat it, and have fun with it, I go back and try my hand a the platinum. Who knows, sometimes I may come across something I might of missed.

Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
I used to like going for trophies, but I barely bother to go out of my way now it seems. I was going to on Sly 4 and just decided it seemed like a hassle... haha.
Re: The Trophying/Achievement Thread
Fuck, no one was supposed to see that. I even bought like four easy PSN games to burry it.
I'm desperate. I'm losing my trophy rank, I've whored most of the easy games, and I barely have any time to play anymore. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
