I got inFamous today, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. It was the lady's bridal shower party today, so I've been mostly doing things with that since I got home. Worked the early shift at work, and that's making me feel tired like an old dying man. Wish I could play it, but I am too tired to know what the hell is going on in the game right now.

Ordered FF X-X2, Valkeria Chronicles, Remember Me and an Air-Flo controller for PS3 recently. They should be coming in this week

It always warms my heart to see someone picking up Valkyria Chronicles. That was far and away my favorite game of the past console generation. Even Ni no Kuni, as much as I loved it, takes a back seat to VC.

I loved Valkyria Chronicles battle system and the art style. Story...take it or leave it. I think I've learned something from reflecting back on JRPGs lately. The genre never seems to move forward because people aren't stealing the good idea.

FFX had an excellent turn based system that's not really been repeated since with turn orders and being able to swap out party members etc. Then Valkyria had a really cool innovative SRPG + Real time mix that hasn't really been copied...START COPYING EACH OTHER FOR THE SAKE OF EVOLUTION!

I wanted to love Valkyria Chronicles but the talking head cutscenes drove me nuts along with the fact that my snipers couldn't aim. It was great until the latter helped get me stuck Sad

Valkyria Chronicles' system got its start in the last few Sakura Wars games - which were made by most of the same people that made VC. But in VC the action scenes played out from the perspective of the character you were controlling, which made the game pretty intense, and the Gears of War cover mechanics were interesting.

Damn, what I wouldn't give for another Valkyria Chronicles or Sakura Wars game. The closest I've seen lately is Project X-Zone on 3DS, which has SW and VC characters in it.

I own Valkyria Chronicles it was a gift from someone close so I've been afraid to play it in case I end up not liking it lol. I've had it for over a year.

Gee I wonder...

ANYWAY, you should play it. It's good. It gets the Krubixcube seal of approval (yes, I know, the thing you've been waiting for no doubt...). But given I'm someone who likes, not LOVES anime and am generally luke-warm to SRPGs that should be SOME indication of quality?

Seems like an odd fit to me. Facebook's goals seem at odds with its original focus but then again I don't know that much about it.

Maybe they want Facebook users to interact with each other through virtual reality so they never have to interact with anyone in real life ever again?

According to the Oculus devs it won't have a massive impact on what the Oculus is originally set to do and won't suddenly have a ton of Facebook integration shit but them getting $2 billion and everything still being perfectly fine seems a bit difficult to believe. I hate Facebook's whole "Stay connected, socialise all the time!" shit anyway, it just makes me feel really uneasy and reading FBs statement on it made me feel a little sick.

If they keep absolutely all Facebook integration out and leave the platform open for people to put all sorts of things onto it (For obvious reasons. I have no shame.) then it's not so bad, I guess. We'll see. I still feel bad for the original dev of the Oculus who got killed in a police chase just when the Oculus was beginning to take off.

GBA games coming to Wii U is an awesome idea... but why doesn't Nintendo get smart like Sony and get cross-buy 3DS to Wii U? I know the reason they are doing it is to sell more Wii U's, but it just seems like a missed opportunity. Also, if you're going to put GBA games on there... why don't you put the GBA Pokemon games on there? Wouldn't that be neat? I think so. Definitely gonna grab Metroid Fusion, though. Never played that and always wanted to. Hopefully the prices won't be through the roof.

Nintendo's just trying to annoy me now, aren't they? Eventually they'll have to realize that old games on the Wii-U won't help it much, and that they should be going to the system that people are actually buying. If and when I buy a Wii-U, I'm emulating Earthbound on PC

Does anyone know if you can buy stuff on the store and download it on another PS4 like you could with the PS3? My cousin downloaded the Insurgent pack for KZ4, and I'd like to download it but don't want to charge him another $10. Any confirmation would be great, because i'm pretty sure you can.

I'm all for GBA games on Wii U myself. I do think they should be available on 3DS as well, but I'm digging the idea of playing Golden Sun on the big screen. I hope 3DS games like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Sword of Mana, Metroid: Zero Mission and Tales of Phantasia end up on Virtual Console. Maybe Final Fantasy V as well since that was the best of the GBA Final Fantasy ports.

God I would love for Metroid: Zero Mission to make it onto VC. That's one of those games along with MGS3, Super Mario World, and Mass Effect that I'll rebuy no matter how many systems it's ported onto

Been debating picking up the Wii port of Sakura Wars: So Long My Love, but I'm not sure if I'll be into the "dating sim" side of it. It looks like it's worth a shot though.
