Feedback, Suggestions and Help

I feel I haven't played loads of new games in 2013 but what I did play was awesome and the old stuff I played was also awesome.

Games rarely disappoint me anymore. The only ones that seem to are Final Fantasy games, and nothing could hurt more than that.

See that is a huge list already. So I think we do one separate thread for TV, music and movies. What would people like in that one? Here is what we did last year apparently:

Any thoughts on some new regular threads we can start up here? I was thinking at the end of each month we could list the games we beat with little reviews or grades perhaps. Maybe at the beginning of each month we talk about which games we will be buying. Any thoughts on these? Anybody got any other ideas.

I like the quick review thread thing. I pretty much do that in the Now Playing anyway, but sounds like fun. Both things do, actually.

Yeah it would definitely be a little like Now Playing. I feel like Now Playing has become a little too catch all. We'd still use that, but then this one would just kind of sum up each month. Spread the discussion around a bit.

I figure the other one might be a way to keep anticipated games on the fore front (the big thread goes without posts for long periods) and could also be used as a gauge to see which games could be worthy of their own thread.

I'll throw them up for January/February and see how they go. We can tweak them as time goes on maybe.

Any interest in doing a monthly summary sort of thing for music? I'm sure people have different songs/albums they play a lot in any given month. If so, I'm thinking we should fold it into the now listening thread if you guys want

An MVP thread. Most Valuable Peep. Where someone writes out a bunch of questions that the MVP has to answer. Since there are so few of us on here though that might get redundant though.

Is there a way to consolidate what we do here in an effective way?

What I mean is, we all come here to talk shop because we're cool with one another. Can we make this forum more supportive?

I don't need traffic since I'm a physical mofo, but maybe we can start supporting each other that way?

This is me just throwing shit at a wall. My mind was going in circles thinking of how I can support crap like Greenie's reviews or Trip's blogs.

This ain't me talking shit, Trip; merely pointing out something in the infrastructure that can be improved. After all, I liked my blogs on 1up being read by everyone here and I'm sure visa versa.

What did you have in mind Spiddy? I am not sure exactly what you want to do, but I will help however I can. We can either hash it out here or via email.

Email is probably better. I can still state stuff here though, as not to be elitist.

Mostly what I'm thinking is we have enough resources here in the club to start generating more traffic on this site and grabbing more members. Lenny with twitch, greenie with reviews, you with blogs, kay-oh shit kay- with twitter. Not to mention back-end folks like me.

Like I said, email would be better, but I want to be transparent. And this is stupid me after reading a Game Informer. I'm probably just biased here, but the people here make a better read than Jeremy Parish.
