Out of curiosity, how do you guys get your PUR points? I do trades, used last gen and some other shady pre-order stuff. Pretty much game the system.

On a similar note, is there any distributer you prefer for new/used games? I'm a whore that goes wherever is most beneficial. When there was such a thing as Blockbuster I hit their bargain bins like mad. Best Buy doing the online price matching has had my business for the past few months.

Special shout out to ebgames on gutting their exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles and then selling it as used for double the price. Oh you magnificent bastards.

I just buy games and preorder stuff sometimes trade in I do have one of those silver cards though that helps. I usually just buy all my stuff at gamestop cause its within walking distance and the people there are pretty decent.

Went to the ghibli museum and picked up a model plane from Porco Rosso. Now...I don't know much about models but madness. The whole engine is there, the pumps, everything even though it's all covered up. Very impressive. That said, don't know how to paint worth a damn and htey didn't provide the paints. Going to start knocking on my nerd friend's doors once I manage to get it built.

I was expecting the interwebs to lose its collective shit about the Xenoblade/EBgames thing. So far I've seen Kotaku, IGN and Joystiq cover it but nothing from Nintendo. And no real information outside of what was assumed when the game started popping up used in the first place. *edit* PA report covered it.

I have no pony in this race. I use EBgames to my advantage and have no problem with anyone who patrons them. It's just pretty funny how flagrantly wrong this is on every level. "Vintage" LOL

Speaking of interviews I got one lined up for an independent school on Friday. The kicker is the hours are 12-9, and I know it's a stupid thing to get hung up on but I'd have to give up kickboxing..which sucks. I just found it and am finally getting back into a groove of social life/exercise. The way I see it, as much as i want a new job, I'd be going to yet another teaching job which is something I don't REALLY REALLY want to do. So unless I get a really good vibe on Friday (and of course, IF they offer me the job) I'll probably turn it down.

Lots of different apprenticeships. I went for an admin one on Monday and a Print Finisher one yesterday, applied for a few more and have a couple more applications to fill out. It's just tiring and the tests they make me do everytime are just irritating.

*edit* To be clear, I'm not mocking or being sarcastic. I really do like ridiculous names for cats. For example I've named cats Itawtitaw Aputtytat and Dr. Beverly Crusher. I end up calling them here kitty kitty anyways so fucking with the vet is really just a bonus.
