Finally worked out my internet trouble, I called and had the thing troubleshooted. My internet is faster and I can now use photobucket, which is cool meaning I can see photobucket images people post here. My internet is even a bit faster too.

I just read that the LoL dumbass in Texas made bail via anonymous donor. That's a good thing even though the whole thing is full of unbelievably bad decisions on all sides.

If anyone doesn't know what I'm referring to, a dipshit kid made probably the most ridiculous comment possible on social media. The comment was a taunt to a fellow LoL player. Some busybody-in another country- rightfully reported the post to police. The police and a judge then proceeded to jail the kid and set bail to $500,000.

I'm not getting into politics or whatever any of this means, I just thought it's gaming related and food for thought. Also, not all of us Texans are batshit.

I know I shouldn't read the comments on any given site even if it is gaming related, but I can't help it. Sure, it's cool to come to this forum and read the posts that are diverse and full of all kinds of smartass-cock-dickery; other sites, not so much.

Can we all agree that "heteronormativity" is not a word and never was? Also, using it in the context of female video games toons is unacceptable and downright moronic. I'm not going to link to the comment or it's source since that traffic only supports such stupid shit.

And I'm still waiting for an apology from the games industry for making up new definitions for clearly established words like "exclusive".

Oh, and this has to do with what pspiddy said. There's a site that I visit daily called teefury.com It's a website where just random graphic designers make pop culture related shirts usually about video games, movies, or tv shows. The shirts are only on sale for 1 day and cost $11 (cool site, people should check it out daily). My problem is with a word people have made up on their that expresses how badly they want to buy the shirt. The word they've created is "instabuy". Meaning they will instantly buy it. I cannot express to you how much that word pisses me off. No word has ever pissed me off like that word.

Do you guys know how fucking difficult it is to stay away from everything Game Of Thrones related because I want to read the books first!? I'm pretty proud of myself for only knowing that people die often, there are dragons or something, there's a ton of gettin' it on, and Peter Dinklage is a badass (but I knew that before).

Anyways, I'm fooling around with Game Maker and RPG Maker. Just the basics; go from point A to point B and activate X to execute Y. They are pretty great tools and pretty good reason to back up the "if you don't like it, do it yourself" thing. I don't know if I'll get too into them though since I have over a decade of experience with Flash and actionscript.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but is there a reason for that? That word never even annoyed me a little, so have a hard time seeing someone get that pissed off at it.

It's AWESOME guys. You really need the full 6 to get the experience, and it takes maybe...2 or 3 rounds to get the hang of it/encounter all the weird situations that you need to read the rules for but we were breezing through with no refernces to the rule book by the end. It's great. Very reminiscent of Diplomacy and loads of fun. But it takes AGES! Given, we spent like...an hour setting up and trying to grasp the basic rules, the first couple of turns had a lot of "wait wait wait...what's that again?" so I think we could have shaved 2 hours or so off of our actual play time but we ended up playing for a solid 5 hours to finish.

That said, all 6 of us want to play again, think we're doing it again next month.
