Honestly, bret, if you have a brain-and I suspect you do- I can land you a job. Pay is good but the hours suck. If you dig motorcycles and 90s music you would fit in. Down side is you don't do the hookers and meth thing. Such is the life of pipeline engineers. Up side is I know all of the hiring fucks and can land you something cushy. I have a semi-working brain, and I do like 90's music (been listening to Jewel's Pieces of You a lot for some reason lately), but the only kind of choppers I did would be the ones I take from Zed. Sadly my girlfriend would never leave Michigan, which is a real bummer.

Pipeline engineer, I thought you did computer set up/help and things of the such. Am I wrong in thinking that?

I work IT and when I lived in Houston I did a lot of work for big oil since literally all of my friends and family were pipeline engineers or offshore techs.

pspiddy, funny story that happened about the value bin of movies you were talking about. I was ringing up a customer, and my friend/co-worker was looking up a movie to see if we had it. We did and I heard him say...

"Yup, we have it and it'll be in that bin over in the movies."

Customer replied, "Which one? There's two."

He then replied, "Well the other one is full of candy, so it'll be in the other one."

In case any of that was confusing, we have a huge circular bin of $5 movies, and a huge circular bin of $1 candy, both right next to each other. This is the kind of stupidity that we deal with on a daily basis. Plus everyone got their tax money in today so of course that means they need to spend it all immediately. Idiots.

The management at Wal-mart isn't much better than the customers in my experience. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore. 90% of the employees either put no effort at all into their jobs or act like it's their sole purpose in life. The latter actually made it feel eerily cult-y

It dumped snow like a motherfucker in Tokyo today. I was being observed by the Board of Education on a sub assignment that I really wanted to skip so I was gutted when they said it wasn't a snow day.

Also a tree fell onto my washing line. All in all though I love the snow, feels like home

Man, aside from the whole tree thing that sounds pretty awesome. Really need to get some motivation and gain the ability to persist so I can actually learn Japanese to some level. Weather wise we've been getting endless amounts of rain here, there's huge floods all around the country.

I bought a box of waffles at the walmart today and i go up to get checked out and the UPC was missing. Some fuckre went and cut it off and stole it for the free book promotion and i just dont even know anymore. Someone stole a UPC off a box of a 5 dollar waffles.

That's pretty impressive, Kay. I'd recommend standing back in awe of such audacity for something so insignificant yet profound at the same time. Sure, it's an inconvenience in your life, but that's relatively small compared to what the person who could do something like that is going through. Humanity as a whole is mostly decent, so relish those moments you get to witness the very worst of it as to affirm what separates you from the terrible thing you could be if you so chose to be.

I've got myself a job interview today at 2. The only thing that concerns me is it's for a private school and I don't know what the hours are. Because as much as I want a better job having shitty hours where it starts at 12 or something and ends at 9 kind of cuts off anything I can do in the morning or evening. So hopefully the hours are good. That said, if they do like me the pay is about $600 more per month so...

Meeting up with a mate from the net that I've been talking to for years, pretty much my best mate. I haven't gone to another country in god knows how long though nor been to an airport in even longer so I'm gonna have to navigate my way around that by myself which is a pretty terrifying thought. It's all booked now, going there from the 13th to the 19th. All the days will consist of video games, watching chinese cartoons (Which is what we do over Skype anyway) eating disgusting amounts of fast food and then going out drinking for the evenings. So excited.

Then when I get back I'll have 3-4 more days at home before I need to go back to work with brand new copies of Dark Souls 2 and MGS:GZ waiting for me. SO EXCITED.

Wife and I are going to the tattoo shop on Friday. She wants an effigy/tribute for her grandma since the wifey is turning 30 and that means death for all women.

I'm thinking I might get one since it's been a few years. Any video games ideas that aren't fucking lame? Everything I have has to do with spirituality or religion, so a simple, colorless, video games thing might be cool. Tri Force is out. As is pixel art.i was thinking the hydrogen symbol like Watchmen, but that ain't video games.

Something simple that doesn't take up much real estate. (You guys and gals don't seem to do the tattoos thing, but don't be sheepish about chiming in. Not like I'll do anything permanent if it's not up my alley)

Okami is brush strokes and doing that would navigate towards historic print art. I'm talking clean lines.

What tattoo does your happy ass have? A butterfly riding a dragon or the kanji description of it for white people? Which loosely translates to toaster bad cat oven mitt.

In all seriousness, Okami was a good suggestion. To give you an idea I have only solid tats. No shading yet. Curious as to what yours is besides what I stated.
