I'm hoping that having 3 cats they just eat the spiders without me knowing. If I had the power to shoe them into a cup, believe me I would. I kind of draw a line about their world too when they leave theirs and invade mine. I'd never seek to destroy spiders outside of my home, and I spray around my house to try and keep them out. If you could see me attempt to kill them, you know it wasn't a brutal act on purpose. In fact, I look like a girl-man that's about to fall apart at the seam. I do understand how I sound hypocritical, but if a lion entered my house I guess I'd try to kill him too.

No way, that takes a huge amount of courage and bravery. And manliness. Spiders really are terrifying.

one time one got away from me and the girlfriend, and it was just before we went to sleep. She has more stuffed animals than you could even fathom, and it went right in there. She wanted me to start poking around to find it, but that wasn't happening. So we had to pull the bed away from the wall, and we slept with nothing touching us. She didn't sleep, until it came out 4 or 5 hours later, and I had to finish it. I'm definitely better than I used to be, but no way ever would I be able to let it walk into a cup and then hold the cup. I think I'd pass out.

Too much spider hate around here. I'm not a fan of them myself but the majority are harmless. Now click-bug hate I can't get with. Those things are evil and have anus-pinchers. It's one thing to have a stinger, but articulated anus-pinchers is straight Freddy Krueger shit.

I was more calling out Bret on that bit of hypocrisy than I was standing up against killing spiders. I don't do it, but I can't really put myself in the shoes of someone who has a fear of them.

Just curious what size spiders are we talking here? Or just any spider period?

Because I'm an asshole, here's some nightmare for all you arachnophobics:

I have tiny little cobweb spiders around my house that I let chill because they catch other pests. Including grass spiders that are the size of my palm.

It makes sense as to why you'd do that, mosquitos and other flyers are just really annoying.  

So I sent a picture to pspiddy, but some serious shit went down tonight.  I was sitting on my computer watching an uploaded video of me kicking my cousin's ass in FIFA ...

....and the wife made the noise.  The noise that signals that there is a spider.  It normally sounds like this.... "Bert......."  So I get up, and I want to get this done and over with.  It's a small black one, on the ceiling in the bathroom.  She gets the fly swatter (typically I use a vacuum cleaner and just suck it up and sweep around until the tornado machine kills it) and I step on the toilet and swing away.  It's a big fat miss.  The wind from the swing sends it my way and I fall backwards onto the toilet, screaming in great distress.  That mother fucker landed right on the toilet I was standing on, and it runs under the lid (because their dumb survival tactics always kick in, like how they go deep into the corners of ceilings, or under beds, etc....).  So I have to man up and lift the lid, and when I do, the fuck drops to the part of the toilet behind the seat where the water pools into, being hidden by the now upright seat.  Eventually we pull out some tub foaming bleach cleaner and 20 minutes later successfully spray it to disorient it into the bowl.  Three times I screamed, and the neighbors probably thought a girl was getting raped.

Unfortunately I just got the news that my dog is being put down today. Fucking sucks. I kind of knew I'd be away when it happened, she's had cancer for a few years now, had a leg amputated a couple of years back but it really doesn't ever get any easier.

This sucks.

Aw sorry Twolf ;_; Well I'm sure you gave your dog a really nice and happy life. It's hard to say goodbye but when I put my dog to sleep he looked really peaceful and actually a little happy. The days before that he was in pain and not himself anymore so it was his time even though I didn't want it to be. It sucks though, for sure. I think I just rambled and probably didn't help at all but I am giving you a virtual hug now

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It's just weird being away and it's additionally weird since she was the last of the dogs I had growing up as a kid. As if every dog after her will be "my parent's dog" and not "my dog", if you know what I mean. But dogs are brave in that they let you know when they're ready. I mean, apparently she wouldn't eat ribs...or chicken, and if that dog isn't eating meat, considering how much of a pig she was she's making a pretty strong statement I think.

@Bret: Yeah, I agree. I always remember my dogs fondly, and luckily I got loads of good videos and pictures of her too. One of the good things about the digital age.

Spiders are the best by the way. They're so creepy and spooky yet so brilliant and interesting. I can never kill 'em, always put 'em in a cup and get them outside. They're terrifyingly awesome.

Also I'm back from my second trip to Germany. It was brilliant. Disgusting amounts of beer and fast food was consumed. There may be pictures.

McDonald's has Mario Kart toys, and apparently you can just buy them separately for $1.75. My McDonald's had all of them to choose from, and i picked the Mario and Peach ones.

someone told me about that before i left. I asked and they were like yeah and gave me the price. They are pretty cool for cheap happy meal toys. i didnt bring a ton of money with so i just got two might try getting the set there's like 6 i think. They all come with stickers too. Though some of them are the decals but i used the other ones to decorate my new laptop
