Sadly I don't think I really have anything to return. That game is worth too much to just give away. If I ever think of something I have that you might want then I will definitely relight the flame to this tantalizing deal!

Currently working my way through A Link Between Worlds. Embarrassed to say that I am stuck in a dungeon and not sure what to do at this point. I am terrible at Zelda games but still have fun playing them. Well most of them.

Replaying The Last of Us a third time. Not sucking me in quite as well as the first two times, but I'm still enjoying myself more now than I do with 99% of games on the first playthrough.

I'm trying to platinum Xillia it seems pretty doable, and not many really dumb things on the list, theres a few grindy things, but it also reuires you to beat a 60 hour RPG twice, and if you dont have most of the grindy stuff done by then well, well you've been playing on easy and running from most battles.

Stuff like double xp in NG+ really helps out too. The way Xillia is setup really makes NG+ cool too. I'm running with double xp on and only using the default weapons right now, and since you have to manually level up your characters you dont have to be overleveled and you can still have all that extra XP.

I get stuck in almost every Zelda game at some point. In the N64 games it's almost always at the part where you get your horse. No matter how many times I play them I can never remember how to do it

I think we were recently discussing that somewhere, how nice it would be to reapproach certain games as a "blank slate" and experience the wonder of playing them again for the first time.

The cream rises to the top.

The parts of both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask that hang me up are both exactly the same, and for the same reasons: the Water Temple in the former and the Great Bay Temple in the latter. I wish that the N64 Zeldas had the same swimming mechanics and physics as Super Mario 64. Ocarina of Time's swimming mechanics were just frustrating and made the Water Temple torture. Majora's Mask did better than Ocarina of Time in that regard but I still didn't like Great Bay Temple.

The cynic in me says Nintendo would rather give up the home console market and just develop for handheld gaming than give up their 1st party-ness.

Alright so maybe I shouldn't feel so bad about my Zelda issues. Going to get back to it tonight for a bit before I head to bed. Hopefully I beat this dungeon im on and make some progress.

Finally beat The Last of Us. I enjoyed the second half of the game a hell of a lot more than the first half. That winter chapter was pretty incredible. I really enjoyed the story and characters. The ending was kind of jarring, but it definitely left me wanting to play another game. Might give new game + a try, because I played the beginning so long ago, I don't really remember it.

Also, I really should take this game off my 'most disappointing' list from last year. It was really just disappointing to me, because I had such a hard time getting into it.

I beat Tearaway last night and that is a fantastic game. The ending was really great. I'd put it higher than Ratchet on my Top 10 list but I like Ratchet games too much to do that.

Now I'm going to attempt to get the platinum for Uncharted Goldend Abyss, but after that I will return to Tearaway to attempt the platinum for this game.

I asked about the Twitch things in the twitch thread and no one got back to me spiddy.

"So what? There's google." You'll say. To which I'll reply: "I'm a lazy son of a bitch, spiddy."

So there.

Beat Tearaway. Great game. Felt they could have done a lot more with the concepts they had, but the ideas were so strong it was still a lot of fun. Felt a little bloated, but in the end, the artstyle and gameplay just made me smile and that's what really matters.

The music towards the end of Tearaway was really awesome. Anyone else feel the same way?

Got the Golden Abyss platinum. I still might wait on Tearaway though, so that way it feels fresh again.

Man, I forgot how massive Mass Effect 3 is. I've been playing it for 23 hours now and I've only made a small dent in the overall story.

I decided to keep my Gamefly going. I sent myself a gift certificate, so it ended up only being like $12-13 a month for the two game plan. I have Kirby: Return to Dreamland coming in. I also decided to get God of War HD collection. Going to start playing through them all as I've never made it through the whole series.

I worked late last night. Not really due to the ball game I cleaned up after but the 2 hours I spent on Limbo (Vita). Damn good game. Not a fan of big-ass spiders, but still...

I've been playing DmC or Devil May Cry or whatever it's supposed to be called. I'm actually enjoying it a fair bit. For a while at the start I was worried it would be some lame angsty teen game sort of deal but I really like the style.

Also I've given up on backloggery since it was way out of date after I didn't have a computer for a while.

The Vita is the only platform that I'd play it on. I tried the demo on the 360 and I hated the way it used rumble for the controller (making that moment where you're trapped in the spiderweb WAY worse).

I started up Kirby: Return to Dreamland. Played three worlds. Fun game. Didn't care much for the water world, but otherwise really good so far.

Started playing The Walking Dead on my Vita today sitting in the dark with headphones. Seems like it might be mildly scary doing this. We'll see.

Now Playing BeUXOacCIAAl7wS

141 hours which is actually pretty decent considering you have to beat a 60 hour RPG twice to get that.

The next seuel i am excited for this year is Bayonetta 2 and i think to myself I'd rather cut off my left tit than plat that game. So maybe I'll just beat it on hard. I've got enough work trying 100% Drakengard.
