Anticipated Games

I'm doing the midnight launch and pulling an all nighter with this bad boy. Can't wait

It sucks that the digital version is $60 and 17gb.

OK, now I don't feel as bummed. The Best Buy I pre-ordered from isn't even doing a midnight launch. Which is strange because I've done a few midnight launches there. It's actually kind of funny how badly I screwed this up by not stopping 2 seconds to think about what I was doing.

I probably won't get it until Wednesday, but I should have it. Hopefully I can catch some of your for co-op.

Yeah I was going to wait, but I'm back in.

Gameplay does look better (as in, they look like they actually designed an FPS and didn't just throw a bunch of enemies in an area), but that trailer was painful. The jokes were about as trying too hard as you can get. Not sure if I can give the gameplay the benefit of the doubt either after they didn't improve it much for 2, don't think I'll pick this one up.

ATLUS didn't have a booth at TGS. Fucking bullshit.

Traded in a few games to completely pay off Smash Wii U and Pokemon. Now even if I'm totally broke come September, I can at least play those.

What did you trade in?

I traded in my first game ever, and that was Battlefield 4. Didn't much care for it, and I got $25 for it which went towards FIFA.

Destiny, Amazing Spider-Man, Castlevania 3DS, and Skyrim (gonna get that on PC when it hits $10). Had some games I have on Steam as well (humble bundles are awesome) already traded in towards Smash so it was just enough to pay them off.

I could never trade games I like in, not sure how people do it all of the time. Not saying you like those games, just people that trade in games in general. One reason why I think it didn't bother me with Battlefield 4 is because I got that game for free when the PS4 came out because of the buy 2 get 1 free deal, so I felt less ripped off.

And I will happily beat you to a pulp in that game on your birthday! It will be my gift to you!

Assuming I even go online that day. I see myself glued to local co-op with lots of beer and shots that day.

I'm still skeptical the online for that game is even going to work!

I've tried to trade in games a couple of times, and in both cases, I rebought those games later. I tend to avoid the throwaway games though and "cull the herd" for things I know I will want to keep forever.

I'm down for a big Smash party on launch day myself.

The Evil Within (generic title to the max, right?) seems to be getting a lot of mixed reviews. It looks fun enough when I see it in motion. Has anyone played it?

I don't remember what it was, but something I read about it a while ago really turned me off of it. Also the PC version is locked at 30 fps for dumb reasons so I'll wait for a sale and mods if I get it at all
