I am so damn excited for this game, my most anticipated game coming out. Thought I'd make a thread for anyone who wants to talk about it. Definitely a day one buy on PS4 for me.

I will buy a PS4 with this game when it launches. I really did like the first Halo, but this seems...better? And also a game that looks worthy of a $60 investment. Launching with this game would've been a better strategy, but as long as it's Q1 or Q2 I'll be happy.

I want to see the skill trees. Pew Pew is fine, but throw me some customization and game over, man. And if I can wear pink armor, forget about it.

Art design is so much cooler than Halo. Really excited for this. One of the best showings at E3 I think.

@T-wolf- It looks to expand on the customization in games like Borderlands with the level of pedigree Bungie is known for. I'm really into Dust514 but it certainly isn't like what Bungie is trying to accomplish. Changing how my toon looks and mapping out a skill tree that fits my play-style is right in my wheelhouse.

TL;DR- Customization and RPG elements in a Bungie FPS = win.

Hmm...So Destiny is launching on PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbone. But the PS4 gets early DLC...this "exclusive" shit needs to go away. Seriously, one can't just make up their own definitions to words.

I'm going to "pay" for the next game that pulls this "exclusive" shit. And by "pay" I mean torrent the fuck out of it.

Everyone at E3 was throwing out "exclusive" left and right. I couldn't keep up with what was actually exclusive or "timed exclusive" or "exclusive DLC" or "timed exclusive DLC" or...you get the point.

I hope that applies to Titanfall Aja. But they've been vocal since before the PS4/Xbone were announced that this would be on PS3/360/next gen.

I'm downloading the PS4 beta right now. The pic Kay posted of loot made me go ahead and pre-order. I loves me some loot.

How do the PS4 beta codes work? They gave me 3. Is it a code per character, which would not make sense, or are the other 2 there for me to give away? If it's the latter I can PM to anyone here that wants one. The only people I know with a PS4 are all in this forum or random people in my friendslist.

beta code is single use and lets you make as many characters as you want. The other two you can give away.

I am so mad, i have died a total of one time on this character and it was when i had 97/100 kills for a "Kill 100 enemies" without dying bounty

Public Events? Those are basically just a few waves of enemies you kill as many as you can within the time limit.

@Kay: I got through 6 or so waves before I was running out of ammo and my punches weren't doing much to the yellow-tier guys. And I'm pretty sure a low level warlock is the worst of all the starting classes but I dunno. Haven't tried the rest. I just noticed the Warlock gets a teleport ability and that sounds fun. Probably shoulda rolled scout though.

So does everything you get now carry over? I never really do these beta things. It's both story mode and online right?

all classes start a little weak. Level 4 is when you get your super though, and that can wreck shit. Titans pretty much kills everything close by. Warlocks is similiar but its long range, and Hunters gives you a gun with shots that powerful for a limited time. It's interesting but in the beta its a little underwhelming compared to the others. However with upgrades i think it could kick ass.

@Bret: Bungie hasn't said one way or another yet as to whether it carries over or what does. I assume at least your Grimoire will but im not sure what that even does, its attached to you bungie account though and not your game file.

It's all online technically, but the story missions can be played solo or with friends. Every mission is pretty easy solo (i beat them all without dying on my last character) if you dont pick the heroic mode. You will probably want to have a full party if you pick that on the last mission at least. Enemies will fucking swarm you. PvP unlocks early on in the story.

I plan to get the game, but wasn't going to bother with the beta, but I guess I will give it a try. I'm downloading it now.

I finally did an event with other people. I died once because I missed a headshot on an elite Captain with my shotgun and my grenade wasn't recharged to give me an escape. It was really fun.

I've been screwing around in the first (maybe only?) "explore" area trying to get used to my jetpack. Just like any other MMO there are chests hidden in obscure areas.

Also, I'm not gonna check out how bad I suck at PVP until I finish the story. By then I should hopefully have a decent auto/pulse rifle.

Equipment stats, and character levels don't affect PVP a new rifle isnt going to help you there. Though the passive skills might still activate i'm not sure

Found a really scary dude in a cave that 1-hit me at level 7.

I tried The Crucible. 4 kills, 3 assists, 14 deaths. I thought it was free-for-all but it's team based. I can see it being fun with practice.

Oh, it was Iron Banner so my shotgun was viable but my machine gun suuuuucked.
