The Injustice demo comes out today I'll be playing that when stupid PSN updates.

Decided to start up Going Commando again. Ratchet is just so much better than Sly Cooper. I like Sly, but for me personally those games don't even come close to the greatness of the PS2 Ratchet games (or the first two PS3 ones).

Also, with the ending of Thieves In Time I'm assuming they will be making another Sly game. If not, that's just a really crappy ending if they don't.

Everyone should go play the Injustice demo. It's great, and actually almost nothing like MK Netherrealm really did something amazing with this. I fucking love what they did with Batman uses his gadgets from a distance and has some badass combos up close. Also his fucking super attack hits the opponent with the fucking Batmobile THE FUCKING BATMOBILE!

I finally booted up FTL: Faster Than Light. The game is fantastic. I'm not sure if it's available for tablets, but it's a great purchase regardless. I don't know how to explain the game. It's like Star Trek meets Civilization meets dungeon crawling meets...I have no idea. It's $10 now although I got it for <$5 during a sale. WELL worth it.

I'll have to try the Injustice demo because, as Kay puts it, THE FUCKING BATMOBILE!

The demos actually pretty small 600MB. It shouldn't take too long for you.

As far as 2D fighters go it's really accessible. Not like button mashing or anything, but it's really easy to pick up and play and Supers basically only require you to have 4 gauges and press down L2 and R2

Yeah, was kinda getting bored of having the same one. I wanted a Captain America one from MvsC3 but that meant giving Capcom money. As of now, I'm at 83%, damn the dl is slow.

Started up BattleBlock Theater today. It is pretty fun. Will need to try it multiplayer to truly judge it. I went on this afternoon to see what kind of MS points I had on the account. Figured I'd have to go grab a points card, but I had like 1400 on there! It was a nice surprise.

I've decided April is going to be action month for me. Got Metal Gear Rising as a gift, Ninja Gaiden 3 to review, and want to replay God of War 1 and Ghost of Sparta so I can do a "Drunk Greenman Talks" on the whole GoW series.

lol I've been kind of doing that with JRPGs in March. Been playing Atelier games, and I'll be playing Neptunia when i get it in the mail. Though I'll most likely be dropping everything when i get Injustice. Really hyped for that game especially after the demo.

How does the combat stack up to the other entries? That's really all I care about in DMC.

Combat's not really that much like the other games to be honest. It kind of takes what the other games had as a foundation and kind of works into to something else. It's different easier, but still really fun combos are really cool and you chain the different weapon's attacks together seamlessly. The full game's more polished than the demo too if you played that.

And something else you might be interested in the platforming has gotten A LOT better, and there's more of it too. There's even platforming secret missions too.

All in all if you aren't too worried about it not being like the other DMC games I'd highly recommend it

That sounds pretty good. I don't mind different. I'd just hate for it to throw out the deep satisfying combat system the series had before.

It's still there it's just different. If anything it's being easier is mainly cause it has more options. I honestly think this was better glad Ninja Theory didn't try to make it completely like the past games tbh, I'm not really sure how well they could've done that, but sort of taking what it had and making it their own thing worked out very well.

Yeah, that sounds good. I actually enjoyed the demo... boss dialogue notwithstanding. What about framerate? Is the 30 fps thing a real bummer? Is it a steady 30? I like Ninja Theory, but there other games' framerates were borderline disastrous.

It's a game I intend to pick up at some point though. I like DMC and Ninja Theory both to some extent and since I'm not the biggest DMC fan, I'll be pretty accepting of change I think.

Framerate's pretty steady no slow down or anything and it's pretty responsive. I haven't had any issues and I'm on mission 9 right now.

So I've played about 2 hours of Saints Row The Third...and I swear I'm not doing this just to be a jerk but I'm not that impressed. Like...I like a bit of mindless destruction as much as the next person but it's kind of more fun in GTA when that's not the point. I don't know, when I'm given a sandbox I don't think "OOOH GONNA EXPLORE THIS WHOLE CITY" because giant cities kind of bore me.

But yeah, so far it's just GTA with a bit more humor, but blatant humor as opposed to GTA's very tongue in cheek humor.

Other than that...haven't been playing that much to be honest. Playing Bioshock Infinite made me want to replay Bioshock...so I'm on that. Chugging through Saints row to try and give it a chance, and then playing Recettear which isn't the best game ever but it's a lovely game for what I call "news games" those games that I'll whack on NPR or BBC and just zone out while I listen to news since it's not so demanding that I can't focus on ma stories.

Playing Metal Gear Rising. Game is fantastic. Free blade mode's satisfying as hell, the parry system is awesome, and combat is just a blast. Might take the crown from Bayonetta as my second favorite action game (the Arkham games being first)
