Re: Anticipated Games
The ones when you hang out and you dont get a rank up event cause you dont have enough points
its basically "you did a thing with a person" and just a scene of you walking with them or eating, etc.

Looks pretty good, like a mature LBP.

New standalone Wolfenstein game. Acts as a prequel to The New Order. Very excited for this!

Really excited for Rock Band 4. It has been long enough that I definitely would like a new one.

Yeah, I don't know why everyone is being so negative on the Rock Band news, those games were fun!

Wish all my instruments weren't for 360 so I could play with you guys. Oh well, I'm sure I'll still have fun

I'm on board if I can use a normal electronic drumset and maybe one of those Rocksmith guitar cables. Already sold my old RB stuff and I'm not buying any more

Just please give me the rest of In Utero, fine folks at Rock Band. Scentless Apprentice would be a dream.

Re: Anticipated Games
It sounds like they are going back to basics for this game. I read they aren't going to provide keyboard or pro guitar modes. Its just going to be guitar, bass, drums and vocals. I did also read they are working on a way to make old plastic instruments compatible... but my rock band kit lived through too many drunken nights in college so I'm not sure how responsive they would be. So I may be in the market for a new set. I guess it depends on the price.

Re: Anticipated Games
I'm fine with Uncharted being delayed if that is what needs to be done to ensure a better product, but it really does make these first couple years on PS4 look pretty lackluster from a Sony games standpoint. Hopefully they have something big coming for the Fall still. Their exclusives are why I bought a PS4 and they have disappointed in this regard thus far I feel.
Re: Anticipated Games
Uncharted got delayed? Damn, now Ratchet and Bloodborne are the only PS4 exclusives I'm excited for

Re: Anticipated Games
I never get too bummed when games get delayed. Especially when it comes from a dev like Naughty Dog. I trust them they need the time to make the game great. I'm sure there will be plenty to play this holiday season. Just kinda crazy Sony doesn't really have much announced for release for holiday 15... especially after 14 was kinda lackluster.

Re: Anticipated Games
Looked into this a bit. These are the Sony-published retail games coming to PS4 this year:
The Order 1886 (already released)
Bloodborne
MLB 15: The Show
Ratchet & Clank
Tearaway: Unfolded
Until Dawn
I think Rime is a PSN title? I can't find another year where Sony didn't release a major title from an internal studio other than MLB. Tearaway counts I guess, but it is co-developed (I think Tarsier is actually taking the lead) and a pseudo remake. Feels like in the second full-year is when we should really start seeing some big games too. Probably a result of some cancellations and some of the big studios releasing big projects late in the PS3's lifetime. Uncharted also changed directors partway through, so that probably played a part in its delay.
Of course there could be something announced still. I'm not sure what studio could have something ready though. Closest would be Guerrilla's Horizon maybe (RPG shooter thing with dinosaurs) or something from Japan since I have no clue what they are working on (The Last Guardian has had enough time to be ready... haha!). Not that any of this matters much, but I thought their internal development would be in better shape for PS4 at this point.

Re: Anticipated Games
Sucks there is no exclusives as of yet, but I'll for sure have the newest FIFA and Metal Gear Solid, so I'll still have some games to play. There's also the chance that Final Fantasy XV will release too. Didn't the PS3 have a really slow start? I know the first two years weren't great. The only games I can think of are these....
Resistance, Motorstorm, Uncharted, Ratchet, Heavy Sword, Lair.

PS3 had an awful start if I remember correctly. Both my PS2 and PS3 started off as glorious, overpiced PSOnes and PS2's respectively.

Re: Anticipated Games
I disagree about the PS2, by the end of the next year I had Timesplitters, Dark Cloud, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Final Fantasy X. Â I play the last two regularly to this day, and if they did an HD remake of the first two I'd play those as well. Oh, and also Zone of Enders.

Re: Anticipated Games
Yeah there is no shortage of things to play this year. Third-party support is much better on PS4 than on PS3 early on which helps a lot. But here is a comparison to PS3 from a Sony published exclusives at retail:
PS3 in 2006: Genji, NBA 07, Resistance. (3 total)
PS4 in 2013: Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack. (2)
PS3 in 2007: Folklore, Heavenly Sword, NBA 08, Lair, MLB 08, Motorstorm, R&CF: ToD, Eye of Judgment, Uncharted, Warhawk. (10)
PS4 in 2014: Driveclub, Infamous: Second Son, LBP3, MLB 14, TLoU Remastered. (5)
Note that only two of those PS4 titles weren't on PS3 also.
PS3 in 2008: Buzz, GT5 Prologue, Hot Shots Golf 5, LittleBigPlanet, MLB 08, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, NBA 09, Resistance 2, some SingStar games, SOCOM Confrontation. (10)
PS4 in 2015: The Order, Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Tearaway, Ratchet, MLB 15. (6)
And two of those PS4 are remakes of sorts.
Might have missed something though. Obviously 2015 has time to change, but the PS3 was thought to have a slow start and this is slower. The big difference being third-party support though.

And Jak and Daxter!!! PS2 had some huge exclusives in those first few years.
Honestly I should probably factor in that there just aren't as many exclusives today as there were in previous gens, but even going smaller to just Sony-developed titles (which is different than published), I feel like they aren't delivering the way I feel they should be.
Re: Anticipated Games
The PS3 also had MGS4 in 2008, which was kind of a big deal

Re: Anticipated Games
The thing is Sony, at the top of their game, can go toe to toe with Nintendo on exclusives but between Halo, Scalebound, and Project Spark, I wouldn't even put them above MS this year (given all we know, E3 can change all of this). I see Zelda, Kirby, Yoshi, Star Fox, Splatoon, Mario Maker, and Xenoblade coming onto Wii U and wish the other two could offer that killer of an exclusive lineup. And unlike MS, I actually know Sony can do it. They've done it before.

Re: Anticipated Games
I'm going to wait and see what is announced at E3. I'm sure there will be at least one big game that Sony has ready for the holiday season. The nice thing about PS4 is that it gets the 3rd party support the 360 got last gen. So us PS4 users have been typically getting the best console version of multiplatform games. So that's a good thing. And looking at this years launch lineups... there's a big game coming almost every month to PS4 that I'm interested in... and games like Mortal Kombat X will keep me busy for months so its not like I really need a whole lot else.
Speaking of Mortal Kombat X- that game looks like its coming together quite nicely. I know there aren't a lot of MK fans on here... but man... it looks so good. Also, they announced Jason Vorhees as DLC. And they announced it today on Friday the 13th, which is pretty great.

Re: Anticipated Games
Yeah, it's all true. It's just I'd rather get multiplats on PC where they're often at the best so I want to use my PS4 for exclusives. You know, first world problems to the extreme.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but IGN is reporting that Titanfall 2 is coming for PS4/XBONE/PC. Been enjoying the 360 version so I'd love to play this with you guys whenever it comes out.

Same, especially since all of the DLC for the first was just given away. Even then I'd probably end up waiting to see how the campaign is.
It sounds like all DLC maps will be free for Titanfall 2 though, which I really like

This is a useless comment but I still giggle when I see that the slang name for the Xbox One is still the Xbone...hehe.
