I mean we'll see, but I don't think you will have to make levels to enjoy Super Mario Maker. It comes with a bunch of premade levels (which I believe includes some from famous devs like Michel Ancel) plus playing community levels.

Anyone here plan on getting Battlefront? Anyone?? :0

I'll probably ask for it for my birthday. Still undecided what system I want it for though. Gonna see which of my friends get it for what system first.

Well I'll definitely have it on PS4 if you happen to get it. Been forever since I've played a FPS though.

I'm kind of adamant on going back to an FPS with a controller. Feels kind of wrong unless it's Halo, mostly since that was my intro to the genre

Know what? I'm OK with Persona 5 being delayed because it looks fantastic. It's not like FFXV that keeps getting delayed without looking significantly better (which makes me worry).

I'm kind of disappointed but at least this way I might be able to stop Xenoblade X from getting buried in my backlog

Re: Anticipated Games
Far Cry Primal sounds pretty interesting. The idea of a big-budget game with this kind of setting is very cool. It actually feels a little bold. And this should be a fairly large shakeup for those who thought 4 was too similar to 3. I hope they include some of the really wild ancient animal species.
On the other hand, all those options I love Far Cry for will largely be gone. Stuff like the wingsuit, helicopter, C4, sniping from way off, grenade launchers and so on won't be here. It will be interesting to see how they will add variety into scenarios and missions. Also don't love that the series is inching towards yearly full-priced sequels.
Anyway, curious to see how they handle things in this game. It definitely has the potential to be very cool.

NieR Automata
http://www.dualshockers.com/2015/10/28/ps4-exclusive-nier-automatas-beautiful-first-screenshots-and-more-art-revealed-by-famitsu/
Developed by the remnants of Cavia (the story side of it) platinum games (gameplay) with people from Bayonetta 2, and Metal Gear Rising's teams, and Artwork from FFXIV, Vagrant Story, Bravely Defaults's artist
The premise is sometime after NieR's ending D(?) a robot apocalypse happened and humanity moved to the moon. The main character is an android who is part of a squad sent to take back the earth from the robots.
I'm not gonna lie this game is a literal wet dream for me

I guess that means they'll probably do a Nier HD re-release then huh? So I'll just wait for that to play the original ^_^

Re: Anticipated Games
Drakengard/NieR have never really been rpgs imo (Except Drakengard 2 which is altogether different) 1 and 3 are more or less hack and slash with RPG elements. NieR is more of a Metroidvania with some Zelda mixed in. Though NieR's tendency to genrebend kind of makes it defy definitive classification. Automata is supposed to do similair from what i hear. Interested as to how platinum will approach the platforming segments and shooting elements.
That said i have never been more excited for any game in my life. Drakengard is my favorite thing and it will finally get justice in the gameplay department with Platinum

Re: Anticipated Games
I can't believe it. Sega is actually bringing back Valkyria Chronicles, and on PS4 no less. So much hype. Hopefully they'll put Atlus on an English localization of the new game.

Re: Anticipated Games
I know, right? Of course, keep in mind that it is Sega and you know their track record on localizations. I see a good chance for the remaster of the first game to come over here since it's already localized. I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic here.

Re: Anticipated Games
Sounds a Valkyria Chronicles game in name only, and that universe doesn't seem interesting enough for me to get excited for spin-offs in it just yet. Can't complain about more console JRPGs, though

I'm excited for a regular VC RPG just because these guys made Skies of Arcadia. Which is the greatest JRPG ever made without Pikachu.

Re: Anticipated Games
I loved the SRPGs and the world myself. I don't care if it's a SRPG or a conventional RPG as long as it gets localized. With all these RPGs coming down the pipeline for PS4 and other systems, I'm sitting pretty right now.

I also threw down ten bucks to preorder the collectors' edition of Trails of Cold Steel for my Vita TV. The Vita TV is a nice little RPG machine. I even got Valkyria Chronicles II to run on it.

I like my Vita TV. I kind of want a smaller 32" TV to enjoy it more. When it's on my 50" TV it doesn't look so hot at times.

Yes! Then I'd assume they'll port that to PS4 as well.

Re: Anticipated Games
You know, I can't lie, I found myself enjoying the PS3 (I have the PS4 remaster) Tomb Raider game a lot. Which is what makes it such a slap in the face that PS4 wont get the sequel until next December! If a franchise is a timed console exclusive from day 1 that's great but don't release it multi-console, get your fans and then spit in their face when they want to play the next one!

Re: Anticipated Games
I'm pretty excited about some upcoming Nintendo rereleases. The original Pokemon games on 3DS for starters... I know theres more updated ways to play those games, but I definitely want to play through them again in their original form. And then Twilight Princess HD. I'm looking forward to playing that game with an actual controller to see how much different it is than doing the waggle. I only ever played it on Wii... but now that I type this I realize I never finished Wind Waker HD!

Insomniac is teasing a new game:

Might be a smaller game, but worth keeping an eye on maybe.

I hope it's multiplatform. It would be cool if Insomniac made a multiplatform game, as they have not done so before

Are we never bringing up Fuse again? Because I'm perfectly fine with that.
