Next Gen Consoles

I don't think I'll be getting the next MK game. Sonic gave a much better kart racer, so unless MK makes real improvements, I'd just rather play that.

There's a rumor that the next MK wont come out till next year, but the rumor states that either Mario will be dlc for Transformed or that there will be a crossover racer with Mario and Sonic. It's a rumor but the source states that we should hear something on the Nintendo/Sega partnership at E3.

Well all I know is that I'm getting a PS4 later on for my third-party and Sony exclusive games. I mean I don't want either to fail but MS is basically digging it's own grave with that.

A Mario Sonic crossover game could be good, but I want it with the improvements Transformed had. None of MK's rubber band AI or bare bones features. Also like the feel of Sonic more. Hopefully Sega makes it instead of Nintendo.

Well Sega didn't make Transformed but yeah, I know what you mean. Hopefully the partnership also means that Sega will work on Nintendo games too, aside from Ninty helping make Sonic: Lost World.

It would be really nice in some ways if this does totally blow up in Microsoft's face. It might really convince companies to make things that are actually good instead of consumers just putting up with what we're given.

Now that the initial shock of how shitty the Xbone debacle was, I'm pretty much over the whole used games debate thing. I rarely buy used discs and had no intention of buying a M$ console anyways. Anything said at E3 will not change my mind. And fuck all the gaming "journalists" for being apologists. No.

Big N and $ony need to step it up something fierce to be competitive. More love for new IPs and Vita respectively. I'm increasingly gaming on my phone and PC casually and core. I know I'm gonna board the N-train eventually, but $ony had better have a convincing E3.

I'm not kidding when I say I'd rather hone my woodworking skills than buy a Xbone. Or buy a '71 Charger and invest time in that. Take up sculpting or something. ANYTHING but Xbone. Ball's in your court, $ony.

If the console is as developer friendly as promised and the installed base on launch is considerable, there shouldn't be many problems. Outside of framerate issues, I think the Vita can push the fidelity of most games. Cloud gaming is the new "it" thing so I expect that to be a talking point at E3 and how the Vita and PS4 will "talk" with each other. Speculation, yeah. But why not? I'm no journalist and only sometimes an actual human being.

Yeesh. A deadline for post E3 is kind of intimidating. Nothin new. If everyone is down then I'll make this a project. Otherwise I'll stick my foot in my mouth and thumb up my ass per usual.

Eh... I just meant a podcast where I reacted more to games being shown/press conferences would be more my style than one just discussing the Xbone's used game debacle which I thought was the original proposal. I'd probably be one big scheduling issue though... haha. Was just throwing it out there.

Besides, a roundtable talking shit about the Xbone would be boring.

Also, your sarcasm comes across well. It's one of the reasons I'd like to engage you and Kay in a roundtable. Unlike Greenie or Trip who I generally just want to listen to instead of antagonize. Or San who is probably the most sane. Or Bret and Choco who are just plain goofy and awesome.

If we did do this though I suggest we throw down an agenda and time limits to keep things on topic. I mostly say this for my own benefit. I'm like that HS English teacher who'd go on tangents all the time.

Also, I don't agree with 100% of this guy's points but he does make a very well-worded argument that is worth listening to.
