eShop is still down on the 3DS, which I don't mind if I wasn't going to download anything but for some reason all my downloadable games are all gone from my menu. They show up on my system memory but not on my menu to play. All my Ambassador games and eShop games are all gone. I don't care if I restart from scratch, I just want em back.

I live in a semi-rural area (one that's only five miles from downtown) that will probably never have anything better than DSL available. I can run Netflix and game online on it, although it's spotty at doing both. It took forever to just to download a couple of PS4 indie games and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds that was supposed to come with my Zelda 3DS. Never mind trying to download Final Fantasy XV or MGS V, both of which are likely to be 50GB+, on it.


But, even at that, my Internet is still far more likely to be actually working on any given day than are Xbox Live, PSN, or Nintendo Network. It'll be quite hilarious when the first round of true online-only consoles does hit and a network outage strikes.

I'm not sure how that works either since that isn't supposed to happen. I don't mind having my files erased, all I want are my games back.

@twolf I think we are still far off from an all digital future since the technology isn't perfect yet. I mean you downloaded your stuff already, so you should be able to play them even if the network goes down, unless it's something that requires constant online connection.

eShop is back but still can't access it to get my games back. I was deleting stuff like demos that day and used my SD card for the good camera. Maybe something is fucked on the SD Card.

Luckily no power outages yet, and if that were to happen I'm sure we'd read about some people that froze to death. It was -30 today. We also got like 16 inches of snow. I don't remember the last time I've seen this much snow.

That fucking sucks, bret. All of my pipes are frozen. Just now had the shut off valve on the bathroom sink bust. I got it rigged so I can still have the water on for the 1 fucking faucet in the house that works.

Yikes, that really sucks pspiddy. I noticed our second bathroom that doesn't have any dry wall or shit like that had the pipes freeze. We borrowed girlfriend's sister's space heater and thawed them and they still seem to be all right, but we would have had the same problem.

It's bitter cold here plus snow. It never ends. Horrible winter, that's for sure. Makes up for last years really mild one.
