I couldn't get into Resistance. I tried the dual pack and didn't like either of those. That reminds me, I own Killzone 3 and have never played it...wow...

Got UmJammer Lammy and PaRappa the Rapper up and running on my phone. Yay! Before anyone bitches at me about piracy, I own both games on PSone and PaRappa on PSP. Except for some obscure imports I own all of the games I emulate.

I am replaying The Two Thrones after finishing Sands of Time again. T2T is very underrated I feel. Haven't gotten far, but I love all the moves they add into the platforming and how unlike Sands you have most of the moves in previous games being used right from the get go.

I pretty much can't stop playing Soul Hackers. I love it so much more than I expected. I wasn't sure what I'd think of first person dungeon crawling but it's not so bad, I actually like it. And the cyberpunk setting is what quickly sucked me into the game.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, put a 3DS/XL on Layaway. We put an entertainment center on Layway at Kmart and the payments are like every 2 weeks. TRU also has it but not sure how it works but I imagine it's the same.

Gonna put some stuff on Layaway at some point, like that 1 last copy of Fire Emblem and maybe a Vita.

Awesome, I'm sure you'd like it. It wasn't really on my radar either until I got a 3DSXL and just wanted something new to play on it. Now it's easily one of my favorite Shin Megami Tensei games I've played yet. Just make sure you press the home button and check out the digital manual since many of the mechanics aren't explained in-game.. I wish I knew that sooner and didn't learn so many things the hard way :/

And yes Kay, you need to get a 3DS soon. SMTIV!!! :O

I liked the first Resistance, even with it's flaws, but the second one was such a let-down. I don't understand why Insomniac threw out the idea of the weapon wheel and went with the stupid "Two weapons only, like HALO!" approach. If you're going to have a game with a ton of crazy-ass weapons, let me carry them all. Limiting it to two was terrible.

R2 let me down so bad I didn't even bother with R3. Maybe someday... Maybe.

I completely agree with you on Resistance, Bannen. The only improvement made in R2 was the co-op.

The 3D effect on the 3DS is a mixed bag for me. It's pretty impressive in Ocarina of Time, but it gives me a headache. It's tolerable in Mario Kart, but it's only interesting when someone uses that ink thing. In Resident Evil it didn't seem to do much apart from lowering the resolution. It seems nearly impossible to keep your head in the right spot, too.

Oh I forgot about having to hold the 3DS just right to actually see the 3D effect. I had to tilt mine a little to the side and I was never too sure if that's just some sort of strange thing wrong with my eyesight.

Been replaying Transformers War for Cybertron because for some reason, my save files got deleted. I mean when you beat the game, you get 2 characters for multiplayer, I tried using them on MP and said I had to go to story mode to unlock them. Not sure if it's a glitch in the game but it atleast gave me a reason to replay it since I got the platinum last year. It also makes me sad that I haven't played Fall of Cybertron yet, I wanna use G1 Optimus dammit!

I was all ready to try that Rayman Legends Challenge Mode on the Wii U today but I had to wait about 40 minutes for it to update, then the game itself took another 30 minutes to download. I'm pretty much ready for bed now. Maybe I'll have time to check it out tomorrow Sad

If you haven't played God Hand you're a casual scrub. Seriously, picked up the game again after a month long break from it and OHMYGOD THIS GAME IS STILL 2GUD. 2GUD. The mindblowingly high levels absolutely stupid over-the-top everything combined with insanely hard but extremely satisfying gameplay is just great. It almost replaced Devil May Cry 3 in my favourites list but the protagonist just ain't as badass as Dante, although to be fair being more badass than DMC3 Dante is borderline impossible.

One bad thing about playing crazy, over-the-top, difficult games reminds me that we'll never get a sequel to Vanquish. All I want is a water level in that game. Motherfucking speedknees across water shooting stuff with explosions left and right, you know it'd be the most amazing thing ever.

Didn't know you had a Wii U, what's your NNID? Also I'm gonna wait before I update, the one on the 3DS screwed stuff up and Nintendo fixed that update with...another update.

My NNID is chocobotic. But I think I made it so that I don't accept friend requests at all because I was tired of declining random strangers from Miiverse (I know, I'm mean). So it might be easier if you give me your ID.

I got Metal Gear Rising for my Bday! I only played the first chapter but that was enough to let me to know the game is amazing. Good to know Platinum is still the best at insanely over the top action games. Can't wait to play more.

I'm thinking of jumping on Guacamelee at full price instead of waiting for a plus discount. Can anyone here endorse that decision? i mean, Soul Sacrifice comes out soon and i haven't even started P4G so it's not like I can't wait. But the videos I've seen look so damn good.
