Well count me in. I'll start working on picking some songs. Six different genres is tough though. I don't listen to a ton of different genres to be honest.

Was excited until I saw it was new songs. I only listen to things made when Michael Jackson was black.

Put it this way, greenman, I'm using the pool of stuff I personally added to my collection this year, and of that I think one of those songs might be from 2013. One is from 1972.

So whatever. Variety is key.

Again, second key idea, picking songs you THINK other people probably haven't heard. You can never know for certain and maybe they have, but as long as you're not picking Thriller and then saying "BUT NO ONE KNOWS THRILLER"

I'm already thinking of songs I wish I included. It shouldn't bug me that much but it does.

That's why this contest is so frustrating you will ALWAYS have songs you wish you chose. And some of your favorite songs wont do well and it will burn a hole of hatred inside you.

But it is fun, and I've discovered some of my favorite music through the same contest that was run on the other forum so I'm pretty stoked about it all.

Yeah... I chose some of mine knowing that they probably won't make it through the first round. I think most people already know most of the catchier stuff that I listen to. But nothing I picked is very crazy, and honestly the only bands I ever listen to that are super obscure are random bands that I see live.
