It's my favorite Gamecube game, and it was the first Zelda game I played. So yes you need to play that, it's Captain N approved!

 On emulating it or buying a new console, well you'd have to import a Wii U if you want to play the U.S. version of the game. The perks you'll get, well you'll have a new console, and Windwaker in HD!

 Or emulate it. Also, search for the dolphin emulator, if your pc or whatever you have can run it, you can run any Gamecube game in HD, I heard you can do that for Wii games too. Also, you'll be able to play any GCN game you might of missed, and there was alot to choose from when it came to first party titles. It's a reason why it's my favorite Nintendo system.

You guys inspired me to make some changes to the wife's Wii to play some GCN games I lost in the flood. Technically I still own the games. They are just at the bottom of the gulf of  Mexico.

I think everyone here is getting Killzone on launch. I know that if I do decide to buy launch (retail if I happen on one) I'm going Killzone or Watch Dogs.

I'm curious if anyone is going Xbone on launch. It has solid games but I won't go near the thing and its Eye of Mordor. Seriously, fuck that.

I'm getting a PS4 at launch myself. On the Xbone, I'm going to wait and see. I'm not nuts about the Kinect requirement and I don't really like Halo enough to spend 500 bucks on it.

Not getting an X-box at any time because I've never bought an X-Box because only a handful of games have ever really interested me.  I have the PS4 launch bundle with Killzone sitting in my amazon cart.  I think I might do that.  Can people on here that preorder from there help me out? If I do preorder it, they don't actually charge me until it ships right?  I'm still hoping Wal-Mart does the same things they did with the WiiU when it came out in hopes that I can get it with a discount.  Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, they don't charge until it ships. No way I'm getting an Xbone at launch. If there were a bundle that was $100-150 cheaper with Halo 5 bundled I could see myself picking one up though. 60 FPS Halo has me drooling.

I was actually hoping for a Kinect requirement. Was planning to stick the thing behind my setup in a soundproof area where I'd have it face a picture of a dick all day. So if MS did spy, that's all they'd ever see.

Isn't Destiny a launch game?  I'm also getting FIFA 14, but that shouldn't be much of a surprise.  I wish some fool on here would play me.

Nah, Destiny's 2014 unfortunately. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with Killzone, at least not until it dropped in price a little.

Or just put the the kinect in front of a picture of yourself or of a video of yourself playing with the XB1.

You know what's cool, we get that racing game for free day 1 of launch.  I don't love racing games, but that is still really cool.

Project Spark is also going to Windows PC. That would be so awesome on the Surface Pro.

*edit* Hey Trip, did you ever find any info on this "exclusive" stuff? Like, what's actually exclusive? It seems everything is on both consoles or console and PC.

I was just reading that the Ouya runs EMUs. That's very interesting. Depending on how the industry follows through on the whole "focus on indie and mobile" thing, something like the Ouya could get some proper real estate in my entertainment center.

Except if it's F2P. It was cute for a while and works well for a VERY small percentage of what's out there(Dust 514), but when EA starts talking about the business model... /shudder

Still not sure on everything. For Sony I think it's easy. These are their true exclusives:

Knack
Killzone: Shadow Fall
Infamous Second Son
Drive Club
The Order 1886

I'd imagine that Super Stardust spiritual successor from Housemarque ends up being a PS4 exclusive too.

Microsoft is tricky. Logic is telling me a lot of them will be timed exclusives and others will end up on PC. I mean stuff like Forza, Halo, Killer Instinct and any of the Kinect stuff I imagine are the real exclusives.

I was on another forum where Insomniac's community manager posts and it didn't sound like we should rule out the possibility of Sunset Overdrive coming to another system at some point though maybe I was just reading too much into it. Here is a list from Wiki (I know) about what seems to be "exclusive" for Xbox One at the moment:

Yeah, trip, I think there's a good chance of those first 4 Xbox games going multiplatform. Maybe Ryse, too, but who cares about Ryse?

As I'm cleaning out my hdd (160gb slim) to make room for the upcoming summer sales, it occurs to me that my plus games may not transfer to next gen. I mean, how will I be able to grab my freebies again? On ps3 I just do a search or look at my transaction/download list. How does it work from ps3 to ps4?

Anybody got any links to info on that?

Side note- PS store seems to get worse with each update. How can a company that created the dual shock green light such an unintuitive prog like the aforementioned?

I was reading that the Ouya requires a credit card. Not cool. I was all about it until I read that.

I'll probably be getting the PS4 as soon as I can for Octodad Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV. I still need to get a Vita and a Wii U too to truly be in the next generation.

You know I feel completely blindsided by this Ouya shebang. Shows how much I've been keeping up with game hardware. JUST CAME OUT OF LEFT FIELD.

What is it? Why can it emulate stuff all legal-like? What year is it? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!

@T-wolf: lol, you can d/l the emus from the Ouya store and then put the roms on the console via USB. The legality of it is so gray that there's nothing stopping anyone from doing it. But the credit card thing is a fat NO for me.

Nintendo is issuing two Poke'mon 3DS XL bundles!!!...in Japan. Sooo fuck beans if they don't do something stateside. Whomever makes these decisions had better come correct or I'm turning to voodoo and putting a diarrhea hex on them.

Obviously you've never encountered a territorial emu, Kay. Otherwise that pic would chill you to the core. Those things are evil and don't mind showing their malice.
