Criminal justice. And don't worry Kubert, I won't really be using your ass, mostly letting other people borrow it if they want to try it.

Anyone else getting Mario Golf? I loved the demo though my timing is off and my putting needs work.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
For those that own a Wii U would you guys recommend it? I've been thinking that I should go ahead and pull the string and just buy one. And if so what should I get?
Re: Gaming Chat Thread
I'm enjoying my Wii U but whether you should is a tough question to answer. If you do bite the bullet, Wind Waker HD and Mario 3D World are my recommendations.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
That's my problem pspiddy, I don't have the time for it. Not sure how so many people own so many different consoles and play all of the exclusives for all of them. Boggles my mind. Then they also find time to watch every TV show, movie, read books, and have the sex with the ladies. Humans will not ever be stopped.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
Yeah I'm really on the fence on if I should do it. Especially with the money I will be using to buy games for consoles I already own. Maybe it'll be best to wait for a price drop and when more games come out for it.
Re: Gaming Chat Thread
Or you can just play mine when you move to Cali and we get a place together. And eventually a reality show following me getting us both into a bunch of zany scenarios with our pet ocelot.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
When is the appropriate time to put up a Pre-E3 thread for predictions and rounding up rumors? A month before? A couple weeks before?

So, Xbone now has a $400 Kinectless version. Thoughts?

I'm still not getting one unless they come up with something really killer that appeals to me. I never cared much about Halo, Gears, Forza, or Fable, most of everything else will be on the PS4 I already have, and some of the stuff I really want may end up only on PS4, in time. Looking at how the past generation turned out, other than Tales of Vesperia and the two Mistwalker RPGs, I would have probably been better off not getting a 360 and just going right for a PS3.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
Yeah, I can't really justify getting one at that price over a PC, especially if MS half asses half the console cycle again like with the 360. Most Xbone games will land on it or PS4 and the only two games I really want on Xbone are Halo and Sunset Overdrive.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
It makes me consider it $400 is a lot more appealing than $500, but i need to see more exclusives i actually care about to actually buy it.
Re: Gaming Chat Thread
If it were backwards compatible I'd buy it and make it my Halo machine. But it's not so I'll have to see what's coming out for it in a few years

Yeah I can't see myself jumping on board anytime soon still. One day probably.
Re: Gaming Chat Thread
A price drop isn't going to fix the fact the Xbone is pure shite and for plebs who don't know any better. Then again the PS4 is hardly any better at the moment, made even worse that Sony started removing all claims about Watch_Dogs running at 1080p 60FPS on PS4 because it fucking can't. Truly next gen is here.
Re: Gaming Chat Thread
I've been happy with my PS4 so far. I have more games that are fun for it in the first 7 months as opposed to that of the PS3. Also, it took me a whole year to get the games I really wanted on the PS2 (FFX and MGS2), so by the end of the first year I think I"ll be happy with what I have. Also plan on getting Final Fantasy XIV but I'm just waiting for the wedding to be over because i know I won't have time to play it now. All in all, I'm happy with the first year of the PS4.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
I cant really justify buying an Xbox One right now. Had they took these steps before I purchased a PS4 there might have been a chance. That being said I do like that Microsoft is able to listen to consumers and try to correct mistakes. Maybe Phil Spencer is pointing them in the right direction finally.
Re: Gaming Chat Thread
It feels more comfortable knowing I won't have a camera in my living room to operate the thing but dropping $400 on anything entertainment-related is still a hurdle for me right now.

Re: Gaming Chat Thread
Yea I think MS screwed up this generation but what is the point in holding it against them forever. Nintendo and Sony have also both made huge mistakes in the past but if you correct it and make a compelling product then I'll give it a shot. In the end its all about the games and at this point they don't really have any that I want that aren't coming to consoles I already have so I'll wait.
