I like picking college games. I like watching college too, but I'll usually just watch the Badgers. I just don't think the BCS is fair. But we only have one more year of that. Anyway, let's figure out the pick 'em thing during the draft tonight. I'll be on Skype during the draft if any of you dudes wanna join and shoot the shit while we draft.

I noticed we have an odd number now in the fantasy league. I think I will drop out as I won't be making the draft anyway it looks like.

Don't drop! The odd number is already being taken care of. I have a guy that will only do it if we have an odd number of people. If I pushed it back to like 8:15 or 8:30 central would that help at all? Let me know soon! You can just message me on Twitter.

Grrr... well I'll just leave it at 8 then. It's so hard to find a time that works for everyone. But Autodrafting isn't the worst thing in the world. You usually end up with a pretty good team. Trip, just rank your players today. At least you can still play.

Well my professor for that class is pretty chill. I could be a little late if it means the difference between Trip being there and not.

Well, the important rounds are the early ones. The later ones are all players you're probably gonna rarely use or drop.

Honestly I'm so unprepared for it. I say just remove me. I'm not really sweating it. If I'm being honest not knowing half the people In the league takes the fun out a bit for me. It sounded like I was just being a baby since I couldn't make the draft that isn't what I meant. I probably won't be home until 10:30 my time anyway and that is if I rush. But honestly if you have 12 without me, I say remove me. You know I'm not the biggest Fantasy fan anyway. I appreciate the invite. I probably shouldnt have accepted the invite. I apologize.

Ok then. I'll just take you out. It's tough, because everyone has different schedules. Ideally we could have had a league with just the TPS people. Oh well, at least we'll have the pick 'em.

Here is the link to the pool we usually do for CBS assuming we want to keep doing that one.

http://1uptps.football.cbssports.com/e?ttag=13_cbspaste

Password is: videogames

If you guys talk tonight and want to do a different one let me know. I don't think they have a survivor league either on CBS which sucks. I swore they did. I must have been on one of the other sites. Again it just kind of sucks to not have everything in one place. So if you guys would rather try and do them on yahoo we can.

Thanks Trip. This is too easy of a game for me to not pick. Want to look over the other NFL games before I pick those though.

I really expected the Texans to be better. I haven't watched them a ton so not sure what the deal is other than Schaub.

3-3 start for the Eagles isn't bad. We were 4-12 last year. Lots of good signs on offense. Averaging 450+ yards a game which would lead the league in a lot of years since the Broncos current offense is a total rarity. Admittedly we should be getting more points for our offense output, but that can be worked on and is at least partly due to the defense not giving us much in the way of short fields ever. Another plus is the dedication to the running game this season where we lead the league. That will probably drop a bit with Foles as starter, but I expect to still have a very good running game. And all this success is without Maclin opposite Jackson.

The defense is a trainwreck obviously. We need personnel changes. But that is something that will take time.

I am surprised to see people on social media taking potshots at Kelly's offense as if it is some kind of disappointment, but that kind of stuff is to be expected from Eagles fans I suppose. It does need tweaks, but I guess people's expectations were insane. The same people saying his offense was too gimmicky to even work in the NFL aren't happy with 450 yards of offense I guess.

We'll see how we progress as it goes on because our schedule so far does make you wonder. Our wins are against terrible teams. Two of our losses are against undefeated teams. The Chargers could have went either way.

Living here in Houston and hearing these fans blame Schaub and cheer him being hurt kind of disgusted me. No disrespect to Yates but I was happy to see him come in and struggle so the fans could finally realize its not just a Schaub problem. There number one issue is the coaching and how predicable that team has become. No reason they should be struggling with all that talent.

Anyway I am happy to see the Niners kind of getting it together after dropping two in a row earlier in the season. Offense still looks a little shaky but hopefully we can get Crabtree and Manningham back and not have to rely so much on Davis and Boldin. Defense is where I expected them to be but they still tend to give up the big play every once in a while.

I didn't hear about that cheering until today. Shit like that makes me sick. I get annoyed enough when people cheer when a player on the other team gets injured (though I could excuse it if something happened to Eli Manning), but when you cheer for your own players getting injured, you're a bad fan.

Harpring was totally a Sixer for a couple years. I remember him... vaguely.

I'm am so excited about this FSU team right now. I think we could beat Bama. Very balanced team we have. Much better on offense than them. Good enough on defense. I hope we get a shot at them.

The Eagles won. Foles threw 7 TDs?!

I remember being in the lead of the pick em at one point. What happened to me... haha.

I'm 6-3 in my brother's fantasy league. Still feeling the Julio Jones injury, but doing pretty well. Just hoping to make in into the playoffs. Feel like I have a shot then. I need to sure up my QB spot though. Not only did I lose Julio, but Matt Ryan is my QB and he is garbage without his receivers.
