Well other than the unicorn riding a butterfly shooting a machine gun...and yes, I know this is very cliched, but I have a wolf. My dad and my favorite animal, was obsessed with them as a kid, still have very wolf-like dogs...so yeah. I always feel I need to justify it haha.

The next one I want...is dense. I'd have to describe it to you over a PM or something.

For some reason every video game thing I think of is brush stroke/sketchy like the character art for MGS1. Would need to look at your favorite game list again for ideas...

No need to justify a wolf tat. If I could find someone to put a native art one on me I would have it. Wolves are just as badass as eagles and cougars. Majestic shit, no lie. Especially confronting them. It's sort of like you ask them, what the fuck? They stare back saying, what the fuck yourself!

I don't have any tattoos, but if I were to get one it would be something that I love and that love will never change. For me I'd love to have something Nirvana related, maybe something like a lyric from one of my favorite songs.

Maybe do one of the symbols of a spell from Ni no Kuni, because the game is great. If I were to do a game related one, it would have to be something from Final Fantasy VII, which would probably the the symbol of meteor or maybe a favorite materia. Any video game reference I did would be little and hard to tell that it came from a video game.

I kinda want to do a galaga ship since it got me into gaming. But now foxhound seems good. I wouldn't put anything ghibli on my body because they, as you put it, don't mean enough to desecrate my body with. Plus, colors. Not that it's a bad idea.

Yeah, I met a wolf, they definitely...look at you. They don't just eye you up they STUDY you. It's pretty amazing.

As for tattoos that are game related - I think I have the same philosophy as I do with game-related shirts/merch. It should be something that is nerdy, but also just good art/good design so that even if someone doesn't get the reference it's still cool. That way, even if your opinion of said game changes it's still cool!

If you get Foxhound it has to be the old Foxhound logo, not that new one that started with Snake Eater and Peace Walker. Not that that design is a bad one, it just really annoys me that the style of art for that design doesn't at all fit with the 60's time period. It is clearly a modern design and that really annoys me. I have the classic Foxhound shirt, and it's awesome. I get so much pussy when I wear it.

Krubix's philosophy on this is spot on. As cool as it might look you get bored of seeing a hundred photos of people with Triforce tattoos instead of anything original or actually somewhat subtle. The people who go all out on massive fucking video game tattoos on their back and shit confuse me.

Unsurprisingly if I was to ever get a tattoo it'd be something Evangelion related, just the title of an episode or something down my arm, however my arms are too much like spaghetti to pull off a cool looking tattoo.

First person to get this tattoo'd on their forehead gets £5.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of them either. Every once in a while I'll see a tattoo that I like... but always on that particular person... not so much for myself. I think if I were to ever get one I would not want it shortly after I got it. I just don't know how people expect to get jobs with a bunch of tattoos. Especially the ones on the neck and face.

I've always wanted to get this art from Radiohead's OK Computer somewhere. Probably really small, as small as it is on the actual CD. I've always found the simplicity of that drawing to be amazing.

Well, it depends what type of work you're going for. But I don't know...tattoos mean something to the person on them (usually) and not much else. I wouldn't turn someone down for tattoos because I don't see that as reflective of any particular personality trait, I guess.

You wouldn't but there are still plenty of people who would. And not always just for a bias against them. My mom almost turned someone down for a teaching job who had a few tattoos because parents would make a fuss over that. It may not be right but it's still the way things are.

Oh yeah, Japan it's still SUPER stigmatized. Luckily mine isn't visible when I'm wearing long sleeves so it's no problem but it'd be a HUGE issue here if they did. So I totally understand that.

It's unfortunate, but yeah, you're right, that's how things be. I saw this one girl with a BEAUTIFUL tattoo once. I wanted to take a picture but then how creepy would it be "HEY...I JUST WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR LEG! KTHX!"

It's mostly because I don't think a lot of the Evangelion symbols look very good as tattoo's and honestly Evangelion is the only thing I'd ever get a tattoo of. The titles on the other hand are great, 'One More Final' being my absolute favourite. Or even something with just the numbers of the last 2 episodes tattoo'd somewhere or something which would be barely a nod to it. A guy on my volunteering course a while back had his birthday tattoo'd down his arm at a slight angle in Roman numerals and it looked pretty damn sweet.

As silly as it sounds it kinda sounds the one thing I'm starting to dislike about some people with tattoos is when they act like they're super fucking deep and meaningful. 'Oh I got this tattoo all down my arm and it's about my life and family and stuff'. Wow you are just 2thoughtful4me. They just tend to act really pretentious about it. People who get tattoos just because they think they look cool are fine with me. It's a good enough reason, possibly the best.

My wife doesn't have any visible tattoos specifically for the job reason. But she actually has more ink than I do. Mine are on my arms and it doesn't matter since the only jobs I've ever been interested in are computers or musical instruments. A trade job doesn't really require too much of a dress code as long as you're good at it.

I want the Foxhound logo but I can't decide where to put it. My shoulders and biceps are reserved for other things. Maybe tricep? I may not even get it if the dude doesn't want to do it. My wife made an appointment for Friday and I figured I'd just throw some money at the dude while I'm there. The Foxhound logo is simple and shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. And yes, Bret, I'm talking the original logo and not that acid-trip new one.

I want to literally fall in love with a tattoo design someday. Unless that happens, I'll never get one. I think a lot of people want to have a tattoo more than they want to take the time to choose a good one. One of my co-workers got some inspirational quote thing that I can't remember, across the top of his back. Something with like "live life..." or whatever. Just aughhh
