I'm posting this here instead of the official thread because I want to see what non-Pokemon fans think of the starter designs now that the final evolutions are leaked. For those of you curious, typings point to Grass/Fighting, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Dark.

Man, Delphox looks weird. I'm disappointed... I'm almost tempted to start with Froakie now but it would feel so wrong to not have the fennec fox. Hopefully that design grows on me.

Don't really like the designs, they just look kinda goofy. Then again, I haven't really been interested in Pokemans since Ruby, I think.

Giimme the option just to have Pikachu again for a starter for fuck sake, everyone knows that guy is the best.

The FFX/X-2 HD Resolution Box is pretty cool, I guess. No chance in hell of it coming stateside. And the pre-orders on the import sites are closed. I'm not a fan of the slim Vita from what I've seen.

Yeah I'm sad I didn't even have a chance to preorder that. I had the page at play-asia bookmarked but it must have sold out at soon as it went for sale I'll keep checking each day... I doubt I'll use it since it's the slim vita but it's FFX so I want it.

The demo for the new version of The Stanley Parable might be the single greatest demo I've ever played. I can't wait for the full game on the 17th. For me, this makes up for all the Dear Esther's out there

Checked some reviews for Skylanders Swap Force. They're finally adding a jump button like the 3DS version, so it looks like more of a platformer than just Diablo for kids. Makes me really excited for that game, glad I'm picking it up with my PS4.

I very much would like to play Windwaker HD...I VERY much don't want to buy a Wii U to do it. Maybe one day when it's in the bargain bin.

Less than a week from new Ratchet. I'm soooo excited.

I'm going to be holding off on Ratchet until Christmas. Just don't have the time to add another game right now, especially with the amount of games I'm getting this month. Really excited for when I get to play it though, will be checking out your impressions of it Trip.

I myself am not sure if I will hold off and get it for Christmas. If there wasn't a new system coming out I'd get it day 1, but now I'm not so sure. I still might take advantage of that buy 2 get 1 free deal with Ratchet being the free game.

I could see waiting on it. Ratchet is one I really need Day 1, but I will probably end up waiting on Zelda and Tearaway until next month though.

I'm normally a day 1 Ratcheteer as well. I'm doing my best to progress in Okami and try to finish before PS4 comes out, because I'm worried I'll just never finish it once the new system comes out. Can't have an amazing Ratchet game slowing me down. Plus, maybe I can get a deal for it around black Friday if I wait. What Zelda are you talking about? Windwaker or is there a new game I'm unaware of?

Yeah, getting it and Ratchet for Christmas. I'd rather have that game when I have more free time rather than during school when I can get distracted.

Surprised I haven't heard anything about Zelda. Someday I'll get a 3DS.

Ya I'm holding off on Ratchet until Christmas break. In the past I haven't been bringing my PS3 home, but this time it ain't happening. It's so great to have another Ratchet and Clank that we can get excited about.

Luckily Bioshock Infinite DLC comes out that day. That should tide me over.

I'm getting really excited for Mario 3D World. But every time I think of the lack of online multiplayer my excitement dies just a little bit. I watched that stupid Nintendo Direct and listened to Reggie go on and on about creating an online presence for Nintendo systems. So how about, you know, making your games playable online? Criminally missed opportunity. I mean, how awesome is the online functionality in Pokemon X and Y? Its not impossible!

But really though, how pretty does Mario 3D World look? So shiny and bright and colorful!

I'm really excited for 3D World too. Looks so much better than 3D Land and that was a great game.

I think I'm getting the gold Zelda 3DS.

I bit the bullet and pre-ordered even though I'm SUPER unhappy that it's a digital copy instead of physical. Means I have to buy the game twice and Big N damn well knows that.
