Re: Final Fantasy Thread
When can you get control of the airship to return to previous areas? I thought it would happen sometime when I got into Zanarkand but it hasn't happened yet. I know there's an airship because I remember using it and inputing coordinates to get to places. Would like to do a couple things before I take on the last bosses. Or is the only way to do it before the end is to run all the way back to the places you want to revisit?

I don't think it is possible until you get the airship. Â I have the X and X-2 guide in my amazon cart waiting for me, but I need $35 worth of stuff to get free shipping. Â We need Kay, where are you?

No prime for me, I don't order enough to get it. We sell the Hyrule Historia at Wal-Mart for some reason (I only say that because we typically sell lame books) and it's $20 and I can get a discount. I think I'm going to wait until I get a couple groomsmen some gifts that I might get from amazon.

You don't go anywhere you just get it after the fight

You can also steal a few from Biran and Yenke if Kimarhi knows steal
and spiddy you cant go back to the desert till then, and you might as well wait since you can unlock the Cactuar village which practically spawns them every battle.
Re: Final Fantasy Thread
its better to powerlevel after the calm lands anyways though. That way you can capture m0nsters as well. Grinding in the cave where you get yojimbo is a good idea just stick near a save sphere.
Re: Final Fantasy Thread
Surely there's got to be another way to get level 3 spheres. Fought many of those Defenders and they never dropped one. I only have 1 in my inventory that I won from a boss fight I believe. There's so many things that require them on the sphere grid there just has to be another spot to get them. Please tell me there is Kay, my heart is breaking. Â Â
You really don't have to do that pspiddy, but it would definitely compete with my favorite gift that I've received so far, which is a panini maker. I've whipped up many tasty sandwiches with that. The other gifts that I've received that I like a lot are a keirug coffee maker and a vacuum cleaner.

We should all give out addresses for birthday cards. Because that would be cool.

My mom won a panini maker a few years back and I can honestly say it's one of the greatest things ever. I'm definitely going to have one of those of my own when I move out.

Re: Final Fantasy Thread
What kind of paninis do you make? The first one I made was angus roast beef, provolone, and i grilled up some green peppers and onions. For seasoning I used cracked black pepper and salt and Helmann's mayo. It was delicious.
Another good one is an Italian which consist of sandwich pepperoni, brown sugar ham, mozzarella, banana peppers, lettuce, Italian dressing (just a dash), and Helmann's again. Also delicious.
One for the future I have high hopes on would be really good turkey deli meat, some mashed potatoes, and gravy with some colby jack cheese. It's a stretch, but I'm hoping it turns out well.

I just use it to make grilled cheese faster and easier. Every now and then I'll pile some meat between and always have some tomato soup to dip it into

Re: Final Fantasy Thread
stealing from Biran Yenke is the best way to get level 3 keyspheres early. If you dont have the patience to grind the defenders wait till you get the airship and head to the omega ruins. They are really common drops there.
Re: Final Fantasy Thread
I'm just going to assume she said yes because of my thick man flesh. And panini skills.

Re: Final Fantasy Thread
I did
Auron > Rikku (so he can have more turns)
Tidus > Auron (higher attack power, etc)
Rikku > Tidus (even more turns)
Yuna and Lulu are going for Ultima, and dual cast and then likely sending then down Rikku's
Kimahri, and Wakka im putting on Lulu and Yuna's
I am using expert though, and i had a surplus of return, and teleport spheres so.

Re: Final Fantasy Thread
So I guess there's the standard and advanced sphere grid. Since I never played the game before, I'm thinking I should stick with standard right? Also, does that lock out the extra content that was present in the international version or is that available regardless of which grid I choose?
Re: Final Fantasy Thread
The Omega Ruins is pretty tough until some of you finally start getting some Level 3 spheres. I'm kind of annoyed with the level spheres, seems like they don't really belong. Kay, where might I find level 4 spheres? Seems like that will be next week's problem.

Re: Final Fantasy Thread
Omega Ruins for level 4 spheres too. Just run around next to the save sphere and save after ever battle. Also Silence the monoliths before you do anything else against them otherwise they counter everything even stealing.
