I'm not bashing MGS5 because the gameplay does look cool but it does worry me a bit that in an interview Kojima says his first goal with MGS5 was to get better performances out of his live action actors which doesn't exactly convey to me that we're getting shorter cutscenes in MGS5.

I'll be damned if I have to sit through another HOUR AND A HALF of god damn cutscenes. I will anyway, because its' MGS and I will play it but still, I wont be happy if that's the case.

Also, I hope he took out the tranq gun and made ammo a bit less scarce or at least make the penalty for getting caught a bit more extreme. That's why I thought Deus Ex worked well. Your health wasn't amazing so if you tried to bum rush a gun fight you could but you'd get shot to pieces before long.

Also, minor gripe...not about E3 but watching E3 reminds me about it. Are there any non-awkward game journalists to do interviews. Lordy...it's kind of funny watching people stumble through interviews a bit but you can tell sometimes the interview...ies don't want to deal with it.

Guys. Guys. Just had a thought. What if FFXV not only lived up to expectations but also had a soundtrack that was FF7 tier?

10/10 GOTYAYEY confirmed? Like, just the thought of it is insane.

That would be quite impressive.

Yoko Shimomura is doing the soundtrack for FFXV. She's probably my favorite Square RPG composer other than Nobuo Uematsu and Hitoshi Sakimoto.

This might be controversial...but I fucking HATE Hitoshi Sakamoto. All of his soundtracks sound exactly the same and he can't write good motifs to tie a game together, all the tracks of his games feel so unrelated to one another.

Given, I haven't played Tactics (or at least not enough to remember it) but...yeah. I'm excited for Shimomura's soundtrack.
