I can't fucking get over how goddamn fucking amazing that Final Fantasy 15 trailer was holy shit what the actual fuck is this really happening hands down one of the greatest trailers of all time my god please just put me in a coma until it's out.

KH3 reveal was cool but seeing as they haven't made a good Kingdom Hearts game since the first I'm not expecting much. Now we just need to find out what platforms both of those games are for.

The only thing that worries me is the paid online, but we'll see. Sony fucking DOMINATED MS though, I mean holy shit MS could probably get Sony arrested for abuse at this stage.

MS could get Sony put on the Sex Offender Registry. Sony sodomized the Xbone, no lube.

The scene with the father and son eating at the table was the best scene in the whole fucking trailer, it was so promising. AND THE GAMEPLAY OH MY GOD 0 WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT.

I thought Destiny looked sorta meh to be honest. First person shooters bore me so much now, the only one that slightly interested me was KZ:SF.

The design of the PSQUADRUPLE was great too, I really like it.
Damn, that was SO worth how tired I'm going to be for the rest of the day.

Maybe I was coming off too hard on it in the chat. I think I was just hoping to see a couple more exclusives that excited me at the PS4 conference. I'm interested in the Order. But they have so many other internal teams working on games, I would have loved a couple of extra teases. Obviously the FF and KH ones don't hit me like they do most. Would have loved to see something on Media Molecule, Bend or ND team 2, etc. I hate time spent on multiplatform games at a conference.

The Vita pretty much feels dead. Sony isn't really supporting it with anymore exclusive titles which is the main reason I buy a system. I know others feel differently about it and why they like it, but I will end up just play games on PS3/4 when given the option.

The price I totally predicted a week ago and I didn't think they'd do DRM. They basically just get credit for doing what they should do in the case of not having DRM. And more credit because MS is so fucking terrible. So neither really surprised me. It's awesome, but didn't seem to impress me as much.

I don't know I will definitely get one at launch, but I was going to anyway to be honest. This conference didn't blow me away as much as most. Having said that they totally obliterated MS. So there is that. And with some of MS' decisions they deserved it.

Best announcement for me was Mirror's Edge 2. I pray they don't fuck it up. it was the one announcement that left me a little breathless.

I thought it was a pretty good conference overall, I mean the PS4 being at 400 bucks was a pretty ballsy move, and the icing on the cake was them taking a jab at MS. I think we all know Sony beat MS this gen already with all of those console announcements. One thing I didn't get was the online MP thing, so do we have to pay to use the online MP portion? And wish they could of told us if we are able to swap HDD's. I mean if I get a PS4 which I will at some point, I want to atleast swap it before I actually play on the thing to avoid the hassle of swapping it in the future.

Can't wait for Nintendo's Nintendo Direct thing tomorrow.

Battlefront 3, Mirror's Edge 2, $400 PS4 with no DRM or restrictions on used games, Destiny looks fucking incredible. Yeah, one hell of an E3.

I think all of the conferences were good. BF4 and all the PS4 hiccups aside, there wasn't much to laugh at. If M$ hadn't screwed the pooch with DRM, this would be a very different next-gen debate.

*edit* I'm not trying to trivialize Big N. I'm not mentioning them because it's a different sort of deal. Just like I'm not mentioning the absence of Valve.

i don't get why people are excited about FF15. either it was one long cg trailer and people have forgotten about 13, or final fantasy turned into an action game while i wasnt looking

MS had the best games showing, even though a lot were multiplatform. EA had the best new games announced (BATTLEFRONT 3) and Sony stole the show by being sensible for once. Best games were MGS5 and Destiny

Yeah it really was a great day of E3. Remember that garbage last year? Today was great! I mean there were some issues but a fun day. And we still have Nintendo tomorrow which will just feel like extra almost. Hope they have some good stuff though.

Best E3 since E3 1995 and E3 1999. Lovin' FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 3. And we haven't even gotten to Nintendo yet. Even though everyone's been all about Sony and MS, I'm interested to see what Nintendo has to offer.

My wife says she's pre-ordering me a PS4 tomorrow.

The Sony presser blew my mind. I, for one, thought The Order: 1886 looks awesome. Also, Destiny looks like Fancy Borderlands. I hope there's a whole lot more to it than what I saw, because while it's very nice looking, I feel like I've played it before.

But the Xbox One smackdown was amazing. Absolutely brutal. And $400!? Sweet Jesus... Reserving mine. I'm not a loyalist to Xbox or Sony, but Sony made it's case, and made it with authority. Microsoft has some nice exclusives coming, but I'll be rewarding Sony for knowing what I want out of a console.

Sony's conference was pretty terrible before the used game announcement (TV, MUSIC, AND GAMES YOU JUST SAW!) but I think they have MS beat as far as exclusives go so far. We know those big titles will be staying exclusive, and they have a good variety of titles. I wish we could get Sunset Overdrive on other systems, though. I'd definitely consider buying a Ps4 at launch if I wasn't worried about more hardware failure nonsense

Yeah, I was kind of groaning in my chair over the TV/music/games BS and thinking Sony was going to show more corporate asshatism instead of taking the opportunity to catch Microsoft with its guard down. But after Sony started rolling out the games, the no DRM announcement, and the price, I think they got all the TV stuff out of the way first on purpose so the dynamite they did have would be even more awesome. Everything they did last night was well-calculated.

Nintendo Direct was kind of disappointing. I'll definitely pick up DKC and enjoy it but was expecting for something more from Retro. New Mario looks fun also, but didn't want a follow up to 3D Land even though I LOVE that they're taking cues from SMB2. X, Bayonetta 2, and The Wonderful 101 look awesome though, really excited for all three of those.

I didn't hear much from Nintendo Direct that was very impressive. The X trailer was pretty cool and I'm glad Super Smash Bros is coming to the 3ds. I agree that Retro should be doing more than making DKC games.

One thing I forgot to mention was the actual Ps4 design. I don't really care about the visual design but I love how it's so much smaller than the Ps3 was. That thing was massive.

The Last Guardian should be on permanent hiatus. Ueda I'm sure has taken off at this point (he was working as a contractor only for Sony last I heard) and the others on his team can move under a director that will actually finish a game.

I didn't think the PS4 would be $600. Saying that number would probably make any Sony employee in the area shudder after E3 2006. Didn't think the Xbone would be $600 either. Cool that Sony was able to offer a $100 improvement on price over the Xbone. Probably has to do with the fact that Sony isn't pimping the PS Eye the way MS is with Kinect.

I'm glad the PS4 has a user-serviceable HDD, but I'm pretty sure it will also support external HDDs as the Wii U and Xbox One do. I'd rather have a larger internal drive myself and use external/removable storage to back up game saves.

The Last Guardian seems to be Sony's equivalent of Starcraft: Ghost.

The best argument I heard about this next-gen was summed up in one word:

"So?"

To put that in context, I was describing what Sony and MS described as their respective mission statements to a co-worker. He plays on 360 and doesn't care about PS3, Wii or handhelds. He owns an iPAD and generally makes my life difficult. Clients LOVE him.
