I'M OUT. I don't plan on buying one of their games again in a loooooooong time after all the bullshit I had with Fallout 3s DLC and Skyrim in general, and never again at full price. They honestly shouldn't be allowed to release games in the state they do.

Fallout NV froze like every 30 minutes for me after I got to like 30 hours into it. I refuse to buy Bethesda games at higher than 20 bucks.

Surprisingly, I had relatively few problems with New Vegas or Fallout 3 on PS3. The games are rough and buggy compared to most other games I own, but I haven't had the huge problems with them that other people have had.

I know Bethesda seems to have a lot of problems with the PS3's architecture, but they both ran pretty well for me on PS3. And with Fallout 3, I own both it on both the 360 and the PS3. I bought it new on 360 when I didn't have a PS3, then I bought the GOTY version when I became pretty much a PS3-exclusive gamer. Even now, it works better on my PS3 than it does on my 360.

The Fallout games are my third and fourth favorite games of the generation, after Valkyria Chronicles and Ni no Kuni. Fallout 3 had better ambience, New Vegas had better gameplay. I'm cautiously optimistic about Fallout 4, but I hope it will be a huge technical leap over New Vegas, and I hope they don't do the cliche of setting it in New York City.

That said, I'm kind of reluctant to buy day one, but that's mostly because these games have DLC packs and I think it's almost better to wait a year to buy the GOTY edition with all the DLC packs included at a lower price.

Speaking of Fallout, if they did make Fallout 4, what setting/area would you want it to be in? I'd love to see one set either in Japan, Russia, or California. I'd take any as long as the game isn't buggy but we all know that last one isn't likely.

I think Fallout 4's going to be set in America no matter what, it just seems like a staple of the series. I doubt they'll do California too since the first two games took place there, though who knows? Boston seems to be the popular choice right now and I'm all for that. I really just want a city with a baseball stadium. That more than anything else I'd want to explore after a nuclear war.

Mirror's Edge 2 has showed up a couple of times on Amazon sites (France and then Italy). Also I read DICE is showing a second game besides BF4. Time to get excited and then disappointed later.

A Mirror's Edge 2 help center showed up on EA's website (Link Here).

A lot of speculation it might be Xbone exclusive due to the EA partnership and those Amazon listings being Xbox. I sure hope not.

I'm hoping that the PS4 being (essentially) a PC hardware-wise will just cut down on some of the console exclusive stuff.

Seems there might be a Far Cry 4 by Q1 2014? That'd likely be at E3. I know Ubi has been wanting to have their big franchises release more often. That seems kind of soon. I hope they do a snow one though at some point.

Well, consoles are just going to get expensive as the hardware and tech inside of them advances. And is Sony going to have their press conference online this year?

I'm being serious. Gamers are getting older too, so they can afford to jack the price up (to a certain extent). If it's an x86 based development environment it can't be cheap.

A BARE bones gaming PC is about $800-1000 so if the PS4 has similar hardware (without the OS) $600 still seems like a possibility.

I'd be happy to be wrong here though.

Honestly if Sony doesnt put DRM on the PS4 like people want i can see them being able to price it whatever and people will still buy it over the Xbone on principal.

Yeah, I can't see any way they launch at $600. I guess we'll just wait and see. $499 tops. (Edit: Not sure what they could get away with as Kay is inferring. Just saying what they will actually do).
