Fantastic. People are now joining Devil's Lair strikes in randoms instead of private to farm loot chests. Loot chests that drop the same shit in patrol and spawn just the same too.

I'm thinking Bungie asked too much from the CoD and Halo crowd to intermingle with the MMO peeps. They went Rodney King thinking we could "all just get along" and were badly mistaken in their advertising blitz. Nope. We can't. This is not the Dystopia you are looking for.

This has me changing my tune on pay-to-play or monthly fees for games. At least the dick and weed references with avatar names in those are fewer and much more far between.

Damn. I'm on the last part of the exotic pulse rifle bounty and now Xur, the weekend vendor, has an even better exotic pulse rifle for sale. Oh well, I'm sticking with the bounty and saving my strange coins.

Crucible with Lenny and Avid is the most fun I've had in this game yet. Avid is usually mild-mannered but crucible turns him to a one man f-bomb machine. And Lenny is just a damn natural.

I bought the Auto Rifle "Shadow Price" from the Vanguard quartermaster -because I have an abundance of marks so why not?- and it wrecks shop in PvP. Not as good as the Exotic Killa has, but still legit. Combined with the shotgun I obtained from the exotic bounty it almost feels unfair.

I've also noticed I fair better with all-out toughness in PvP. There's been speculation that battle recovery is more important but I'm not experiencing it that way at all. I dunno, maybe it's my play style.

Did the raid with Killa and his crew this weekend. Once I started to understand it and, more importantly, figured out what load out was most effective for me, it was fun. Came out with some really good loot too.

Still not as fun as dicking around with Avid and Lenny, but that's downright unfair for any comparison.

I got another legendary drop when I was playing today. Sweet, right? Nope. Another fucking primary weapon. To be fair its a better auto rifle than what I had. It has a huge magazine and shoots a lot faster then my old one. I dismantled my other auto rifle and got a huge pile of shards, so I guess its worth it. Still... fuck the loot system in this game. I'm gonna be stuck on level 24 forever.

Don't worry, Bungie will fix that by fixing shit shareholders want for the 10-year plan by worrying about how-the-fuck they can consider why the internet is the internet. And next quarter they'll grab another suit to eat sandwiches and huff about "how did this shit happen"?

Deej (or whatever) has all ready addressed this by disabling comments on the updates blog before even it went live. Holy shit this will be fun. $500 million is awesome; ask Dinklage. Fucking blowback will be hilarious.

*edit* Note: With all of the advertising spent on any given site, the coverage has, so far, been positive or non-existent. Man, this shit is better than that gamergate bullshit.

Well I was going to play Destiny tonight, but PSN is down. I used to not get irritated by this, but tonight was my first night in a while where I have my night open to game. And the game I want to play is always online... I guess I'll catch up on my DVR'd shows.

Dang, I just noticed this too and there's no information about it that I can find. I'm on the last part of the Thorn bounty too.

@Avid: I had Caboosey do the PvP part of the Thorn bounty for me. He did it in less than 2 hours. I was following him on the app and at one point he had 25 kills with 3 deaths And no, I don't consider it cheating; I consider it adapting to the circumstance and utilizing the resources at hand. (which of course is newspeak for cheating )

I actually love the game. I just think they are in way over their heads at this point.

Did the raid with killa tonight. We finished in 38 minutes which is pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

As soon as I get an exotic helm for my hunter I'll hit 30. I'm not really as effective right now, on warlock or hunter, as I should be because I'm leveling so many weapons it's kinda ridiculous. I definitely recommend picking a load-out and maximizing it instead of trying to level everything like I'm doing.

Also, leveling 3 toons at once will fry your brain.

I just read through some of the bungie forums for the first time. Man, are they negating to good will of a whole community. Every response seems scripted or patronizing. I mean the whole "10 year plan" is starting to look increasingly bleak. And it shows how obtuse the CoD monetary platform can be.

I kinda want to start a bungie logic thread and expand on my toaster comment. Starting with:

I got this game for my birthday, seems pretty all right so far. I like the controls, and so far I like how the weapons seem real despite being a sci-fi game. I'm sure that'll change though.
