I missed out on Killer 7. I didn't really become aware of Suda or Grasshopper Manufacture until No More Heroes, and the first Suda game I played was Sine Mora. I loved Lollipop Chainsaw.

I might have to change my GOTY from 2012 to Devil Survivor 2. I avoided it cause SRPG, but goddammit it's great. It feels a lot more like a Persona game than straight SMT and some of it's characters are really great. I fucking love Yamato and Fumi.

I loved No More Heroes and enjoyed Shadow of the Colossus, but really disliked Lollipop Chainsaw. Hoping Killer is Dead will be a return to form.

1997 had a lot of good games. FFVII is my favorite game of all time, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Goldeneye, and PaRappa the Rapper were all good (at the time, I was still a N64-exclusive gamer).

1998 had a larger variety of games I loved - games like Ocarina of Time, Xenogears, FF Tactics, Resident Evil 2, Tekken 3, Parasite Eve, Brave Fencer Musashi, SaGa Frontier, etc, etc.

I think that the PS1 had the best library for me being an RPG fan, although the PS2 had much greater variety. I didn't generally buy many action games on PS1, while PS2 finally had action games that I wanted to play, and it still had great RPGs on it.

Although I did enjoy Shadow of the Colossus, I meant to write Shadows of the Damned in my last post! I'm pretty sure Suda 51 wasn't involved in SOTC. It would've been a very different game Smile

Oh man i made my post in this thread when i thought Tomb Raider was GOTY

3D World was my GOTY last year, and Tales of Xillia the runner up.

Also i quit Devil Survivor 2 cause Break Record and that still actually exists so i will continue not playing it and wait for Break Record.

Also Killer is Dead was a huge disappointment, and it started out so great god dammit Suda

2014: I said Far Cry 4, but I think I may lean towards Mario Kart 8 now. Will have to think about this one some more.
2015: Rise of the Tomb Raider
2016: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

I never did the '90s so I'm going to see if I can figure that out now.
