PlayStation Plus Discussion
I don't know about the rest of you, but a lot of time I will download PS+ games and not get around to them. I thought it might be worthwhile to have a thread where we give impressions of the ones we try. Some people may have already played them too. Might start some new discussions and give people an idea of what is worth your time.
February Games
-Transistor
-Apotheon
-Thief
-Yakuza 4
-Rogue Legacy
-Kick and Fennick

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I've only had a chance to play a bit of Apotheon so far. It has a great artstyle and the setting is very cool, but the controls and combat just feel kind of awkward to me and sort of turned me off from continuing.
I also played Thief for a few chapters on PS4 last year and was pretty unimpressed, but I'm not the biggest stealth gamer. Pretty lame they gave out the the PS3 version too, but I have no idea how that runs.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
The amount of PS+ games I have downloaded and not played is daunting.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I feel like with the number of PS+ games I actually play in a year, I'd be better off just buying them on steam than paying the $50 subscription.
I'd definitely be trying out Transistor and Apotheon if I had a Ps4 though

Normally the ones for the vita are the ones I like and play most.

I'll definitely DL Transistor. Loved Yakuza 4 (looking forward to 5), but I have the disc version.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I'd be happy with Knack, always wanted to play the game but never wanted to put the money down. Always assumed it would be a PS+ game so I've always waited. I figured the same thing with Resistance for Vita.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I read some stuff around the internet that this month's PS+ might be kind of lacking... for example I saw one of the things rumored was Season 4 of The Tester for free. Its kinda disappointing but we've had so many consecutive months of pretty awesome PS+ lineups its almost ok. Hopefully they can at least secure one good one for each system.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
They normally announce the week before the new month, so I'm not sure what's taking them so long. It would piss me off if some of the Vita sales were free and that was the reason they waited on posting.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I'm only really excited to play that Valiant Hearts game. Papa & Yo looks good. I can say with 100% certainty that I do not like Oddworld games. I'll try this one, but like the other 3 or 4 we got for free I'll play for 2 hours, hate it, and delete it.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I'll give Oddworld another try. Didn't feel it last time, but may have not given it a fair shake. OlliOlli 2 really pleases me, loved the first one.Valiant Hearts I'm not sure on, but I'll probably try, Counterspy looks neat, but will probably be forgettable, and Sherlock I have no idea what it's like, but any puzzle solving and I'm in.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I already have Valiant Hearts. I didn't like the first OlliOlli so I'll pass on that and everything else doesn't really interest me. Might try out Sherlock cuz I like adventure games.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
Yeah nothing too interesting for me either. I did love Valiant Hearts though so that is definitely a nice one for people who didn't buy it already!
Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I know im the only person really benefiting from it here, but games for gold has been pretty good to me lately, witcher 2, D4, and Rayman Legends. I can't really justify getting plus again till i get a ps4 unless they bust out some really amazing ps3/vita games
Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
Man, Rayman Legends sounds like an awesome bonus.
As for PS+, Olliolli 2 on vita intrigues me. I'd love to get in on Valiant Hearts but again I have no Ps4. Oh well

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
Anyone have any impressions of the PS+ games for the month? I started downloading them, but haven't been able to try any of them.
Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
April's Plus games:
Tower of Guns (PS4, PS3)
Never Alone (PS4)
Dishonored (PS3)

Pretty excited for Never Alone. That is one I've thought about buying a few times in the past.

May Games:
Ether One [PS4]
Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition [PS4]
Race the Sun [Vita] [PS3] [PS4]
The Unfinished Swan [Vita] [PS3] [PS4]
Murasaki Baby [Vita]
Hohokum [Vita] [PS3] [PS4]
Nothing really catching my eye here. Guacamelee is great, but I've played the original release. The last two look kind of interesting. Hopefully I will get around to trying them.

Re: PlayStation Plus Discussion
I've never player Guacamelee because i'm not much of a fan of those kind of games (metroidvania or whatever it is called), but I'm going to give it a go for one reason: I love Tales From Space, and this is made by the same team. Tales was great, one of my favorite Vita games.
Hohokum looks great too, because it looks like the Loco Roco. Hey dip shits at Sony, make another Loco Roco already.
