Discussions/Experiences with Games with Non-Gamers
You guys have any funny/weird/horrifying stories about conversations about games you've had with non-gamers? Or perhaps an experience where you gamed with someone who typically doesn't? Figured this might spur some good stories.

Nothing beyond the usual remarks about video games being a waste of time and people giving me weird looks before they load up Candy Crush Saga on their phones on their way into the bathroom.

Re: Discussions/Experiences with Games with Non-Gamers
I remember when I beat Final Fantasy X, I ran to the store to pick up X-2, because I was so excited to keep playing. I fired up the game and the opening video started and my mom walked in and I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life. She just looked at me and was like, 'this is what you went to the store to get?' I had no explanation. I just said... it's Japanese. Didn't really help.
Speaking of Japanese, when me and my roommate in college played Persona 4 together for the first time, we always got weird looks from our other roommates... and they often complained about the battle music playing non-stop for hours. They clearly weren't ready to face their true selves.
