Game Nights

I'm just curious to see who all would be interested in an old school Uncharted 3 game night? If you're interested, let me know what day works best for you. I'd be up for doing it tonight, but I'm sure there'd be a lack of participants due to the last-minute announcement if we did.

Please let me know and I hope we can set something up!

I traded in Uncharted 3 a while ago. Wouldn't mind a 2 night though if we got the people.

Next weekend would probably be best for me. I imagine the people still playing Uncharted 2 would make for a real miserable game night in matchmaking. Uncharted 3 pisses me off in other ways, but I'd be up for whatever just to do it again for old times sake. I wish we could wrangle like six people then we could just do some custom games. That'd seems pretty impossible though.

Sounds good, Trip. I have my birthday dinner with family and friends next Saturday, so I'd prefer it be either next Friday or Sunday if it is.

Side note- I'll work on a way to streamline the game night thing if needed. I know a lot of you guys do Twitter and such and meet up there, but having something with weight here isn't a bad idea.

I'd be up for some Uncharted 2. If you're talking this weekend coming up, it'd have to be Sunday for me to join. I'm going out of town for a four-day weekend from Thursday-Sunday, but I should be home by Sunday afternoon.

Just a friendly reminder that Game Night is still scheduled for this Sunday night! Also, I just realized that I've never played Uncharted 2 in multiplayer mode, so I may be worse than Matt. If you're a PS+ member, you can also download Uncharted 3 if we were all inclined to play that; but Uncharted 2 seems to be the general consensus so I'm cool with that.

What time are we thinking? I was thinking of just popping on after Breaking Bad which would be 10PM Eastern. Figure that might work for both coasts. I could be on earlier though if people want.

Not sure when I'll be here tomorrow. If I'm not around then you can start without me though. And I also downloaded Uncharted 3 off PS+ so can do that if you guys want it.

I went on Uncharted 2 today to see how I'd do and was having trouble finding matches. And I went over to Uncharted 3 and found its classic mode (which was added later into that game) to be quite fun. Basically feels like early Uncharted 2 Team Deathmatch with sprinting added and no Situational Awareness.

Yeah, 7pm PST works for me if that works for everyone else.

Oh yeah, and I should probably have both Uncharted games "update" now so that I'm ready for later.

Also, do I/should I download the map packs for any of these or will we going basic tonight?

I don't know about the rest but I own the GOTY editions so I've got everything.

I wouldn't worry about the map packs. Surely one of the people playing doesn't own them. Or so I'd think.

After telling Trip and Volvo that I deleted my file to save space on my hard drive, I decided I actually wanted to play with you guys and figured the patches probably wouldn't be too extreme. Went to grab my copy of the game to boot it up, and noticed it wasn't there. Forgot that I let a friend borrow it about 6 months ago. He really needs to finish that shit.

Grand. Fucking. Champion. I hit fools, like twice, and got a few Greenie kills. Suck it.

That was actually good fun in custom game. Thanks for everyone that played and lenny for suggesting it. I tried joining your guys final game, but it kept putting me on lenny's team which seemed like a bad idea.

Also I forgot about some of the custom options. We could have tried pistols or rpgs only for a bit of ridiculousness. Also we should of turned the kill total down. 50 was a lot for 3v3. Anyway good times.
