Re: Platformer Thread
Anyone ever play Super Princess Peach? Was a fun little game. Super easy. Peach's emotion powers were hilarious, but I enjoyed it. Wouldn't mind another Peach-focused platformer one day.
Re: Platformer Thread
You know, I skipped that one because it came out at my "too macho for..." phase, but once Pokemon Diamond and Pearl snapped me out of that I always regretted it. Would like to pick it up some day.

I've seen it around in the used stores a lot around me, I might pick it up one of these days because I remember you recommended it ages ago when we were still over at 1up!

Re: Platformer Thread
I had a Super Princess Peach carrying bag/box thing (it kind of looked like a lunch box iirc) and stylus for my DS but never actually got the game. Not reallly sure why its probably something id love.
Re: Platformer Thread
I'm coming in late, but I always liked Super Mario World better than Super Mario 3. It's a hard debate though, since both of those games are my two favorite Mario games. I think one thing that did it for me was the ability to save your game. I know Trip probably remembers, but I've never beat Super Mario 3 and it's always been at the top of my pile of shame list. If I could save, I'm sure I would have beaten it years ago.

Re: Platformer Thread
I think the Wii's suspend state or the Gameboy Advance version would help out with the saving issue. I remember having to leave my NES on overnight with the TV off and coming back to it the next day... haha.
Re: Platformer Thread
I do have it on the Wii, but the problem there is powering up the Wii. It's on my old 27" tube tv that I never use.
