Re: The Heads Up Thread(deals and such)
I saw them last night, and I was pretty excited too. My only problem is hard drive space. How easy and about how much does it cost to upgrade your hard drive?

I'm glad more of you will be able to play Spec Ops: The Line now. It's just one of those games I think everyone should play whether you're it's target audience (Kubert) or not (Trip).

Re: The Heads Up Thread(deals and such)
There's also supposed to be 4 free Ps1/PSP games. I guess they're part of the Vita anniversary sale, not PS+
@Bret Check out an online guide to ugrade your hard drive. It's pretty easy, just know that the screws can get stripped easily. The most you will pay is a little over $100 if you want a 1TB hard drive
GoG is the best place to buy PC games. Good deals, DRM free, and you get a ton of bonuses on the side. They just don't have the selection that Steam does

Every once in a while, I trade in a game, and then grow to really regret the decision. Left 4 Dead 2 falls into this category.avidacridjam wrote:Just bought Left 4 Dead 2 on XBL for $10. Anyone here play this?

Yeah that is a good list for PS+ this month. Tomb Raider is my last purchase for some time, so this should help keep me busy.
Re: The Heads Up Thread(deals and such)
GOG has a sale on right now. Pick 5 games out of a list of 20, and you get about 80% off. The eligible games include Alan Wake and The Witcher

Re: The Heads Up Thread(deals and such)
I like GOG. I'm not a PC gamer, but they did sell a lot of PC classics I used to love back in the day for cheap, like Ultima and Tex Murphy, so I bought those.
I'm all for their staunch no-DRM position. I understand companies wanting to protect their games from piracy, but engaging in bullshit the way EA and Ubisoft do and treating your customers like criminals is a good way to ensure that I keep my wallet closed.

I'd like to give Metal Gear Rising a shot. But I'd like it to be a cheaper shot...like $30.

Would it work if you were to download the DLC now without having the game installed?

The Scott Pilgrim game (ultimate edition, with all DLC) is $12 for Plus members. I had leftover funds so I grabbed it. If you have the 360 version (like I do), you'll have to pay $5 for the online MP pack. As far as I can tell, XBL doesn't provide a bundle (big surprise).

Does this game have online co-op? I heard it didn't, and that strikes me as shockingly stupid.avidacridjam wrote:The Scott Pilgrim game (ultimate edition, with all DLC) is $12 for Plus members. Damn, just one more day and I could have got Luigi's Mansion. Oh well, Tomb Raider, MGR Revengence, and Ni No Kuni are looking good. May jump on this.Captain N wrote:There's gonna be a buy 2 games get 1 free at Target. Deal starts on the17th and ends on the 23rd this month. The DLC adds online co-op. Which I'd be so down to play with other people, it's an awesome game.Bannen wrote:Does this game have online co-op? If I had time to play three games I would be all over this. I've missed out on a lot of games I wanted to get. Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3 and Hitman to name a few.

Really? Well that makes me not care about missing it as much. I thought when I saw previews it looked really different from the Hitman of old, but some people said you could still play it in that fashion.

Re: The Heads Up Thread(deals and such)
You can try, but some of the level design makes it impossible. A lot of the game is one mission broken up into a bunch of levels - and a lot of them don't have a true "target", so there's some stealth, some forced action, and then there are parts that feel like a true Hitman game - but the entire experience is no longer Hit-by-Hit missions.
I was so happy I went with Dishonored instead. Different kind of experience, but close enough to fill the cleverly-dispatch-one-enemy void.

Best Buy's having some crazy clearance deals tomorrow. Adventure Time is $10, Darksiders 2's $15-20 depending on system, and X-Com's $15. And most important: SAINTS ROW THE THIRD'S $10! YOU FUCKERS BETTER BUY IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY!
