I'm in Newegg order hell and it's my own damn fault (mostly). The last time I ordered something from them it was for my in-law on father's day. So default shipping was changed to an address 900 miles away. I did not look at this when I confirmed my order. The bundle is now out of stock so I can't cancel and re-order.

See kids, this is why reading and following directions is very important.

If anyone is jumping on Rain, please let the forum know if it's worth jumping at that price. It looks incredible. I'm jumping on Flashback and can leave my impressions if anyone is curious about it. I'll probably be biased since the original SNES game is an all-time favorite of mine.

Re-Volt is now on gog! Only 6 bucks at full price. I had this on the N64 and it's still my favorite RC racing game. I spent hours in the track editor, even before I knew how to use it. The PC version also includes online multiplayer and mod support.

Also, I seem to be getting Steam coupons on a regular basis now. I'm not sure why. This is weird. This time they're for Volkarr the Viking and Foul Play

I wish they'd release a PSN version with the same achievements as trophies. Didn't they also make the graphics a little cleaner?

They upped the anti-aliasing (jaggies) so it does indeed look smoother...errr rounder?! So, basically PSone 3D with less jaggies.

I downloaded the Steam version because what the hell. Unfortunately I can't get it to work. It keeps crashing when I enter that first battle with an "unknown exception" error and nothing I've tried seems to fix it. Steam and Square Enix are no help, either.

Found the original PC version really cheap when i was a kid. It looked much nicer but it was ALWAYS crashing. If I'm not mistaken its pretty much the same version.

That was technically my first real RPG but between my short attention span and the crashing i never made it past Midgar. So i dont count it. I only actually got to play it when i got the PS1 version years later. Like in 2005.

Kind of wish i would have held on to that it might be worth some money now.

Toys R US has BOGO 40% off 3DS and WiiU. Works on Pokemon X/Y and Zelda aLBTW. With tax my order for both Pokemon was $69 shipped. If you do it in store you can get bonus $10 gift cards for each Pokemon. But I'm not sure if BOGO works in store so post if anyone tries it.

Just an annual heads up: Now is the time to buy any physical games that are within your jump price. Prices may get lower for Black Friday but, once the holidays hit, prices for this year's crop will usually get back to retail. And then they usually don't drop again until March.

A bunch of games I've been tracking are already starting to creep back up in price. This is really just a reminder for those games that will hold value or actually appreciate in value. Or we could all get back to our backlogs and stop spending money. Yeah right Razz

Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, Ebay, Play-Asia, and sometimes places like Target, TRU and Wal-Mart. I'm mostly talking about the former four and, of course, online. There's been a little bit of a difference in how prices fluctuate since Best Buy started price-matching in March.

It's usually through third-party sellers that use basic supply and demand, but even first party does it during the holidays. I'm just saying keep an eye out.

Gamestop/EBgames is selling the 60gb and 80gb refurbished PS3s for $150. And you get a used game <$20 thrown in. All used PS3s are on sale for that price but I'm mentioning those specifically for BC.

I know a few members have the BC versions, but not all of us do. I jumped so I can now retire my PS2. It's a niche thing, but worth it for the collectors who didn't jump on launch.

I have a 60GB model and the first 120 GB slim model. Some games graphics get all wonky on the 60GB model, but I can still gladly play games like Dragon Quest VIII on it, which I've been doing lately.
