Action Comics #1 sold for over three million bucks. That's some serious Nic Cage money. I wonder if anything I own is worth, well, anything. I collected as a hobby so whatever I have has been lovingly read. Off-hand I can think of maybe, MAYBE, a few things being worth something more than bubblegum. Daredevil #7, Uncanny X-Men #141 & 142, Wolverine mini-series and #1-50 of the ongoing series, Blade of the Immortal and Usagi Yojimbo ashcans I picked up at a trade show somewhere. I think I also have a doodle somewhere from Frank Frazetta when I met him at a seminar he was hosting about sequential art.

As you can guess, I'm back from camp and then had to go immediately back to school which kind of sucked. But camp was a good time, some really sweet kids there. There was crying, but I guess that's to be expected from 11 year olds haha.

My years apprenticeship finished, the company has hired me full time so that's one load of worry and stress off and a whole new load added. Went out last night to celebrate by getting smashed with the workmates, woke up this morning in a friends lounge with that horrible feeling of "Ahhh god why did I do or say half that shit" haha. Finally going to be on a decent wage instead of slavewage apprentice shit which is sweeeeeet.

As for the other issue, I have bad anxiety about that kind of thing as well, but my life experience has taught me to try as best I can to shrug it off because that thing I said or did that I think was so stupid, usually I am the only one thinking about it after it happened.

I get that people are curious about the rich and famous. What's puzzling to me is why would people creep on personal shit? Seriously? Jennifer Lawrence is basically naked in X-Men. It doesn't take much to imagine what isn't shown. I'm not trying to be all high and mighty -who doesn't like titties and ass- but it seems the interwebs has gone to defcon 5 over some creepy shit.

I guess for me, I just see a lot of commotion over something a lot of people do. I mean, the girl was hacked, she didn't do anything wrong, what she does in her private time is her business. But yeah, spiddy, you make a good point in that pretty much all that was missing from seeing all of Jennifer Lawrence's body in X-Men was nipples.

ALSO, unrelated pet peeve: when a game says "Press Start" but you can press any button. Why not just write "Press any button to begin". YES IT MATTERS! GAWD!

First game of indoor started up today. Although we tied 4-4, I played extremely well. Scored the first goal, and assisted on the other 3. Sadly I'm 31, so my playing days will soon be beyond me, but it was nice to hang with a bunch of college 20-25 year olds.

In high school I had in school suspension for wearing a Jane's Addiction "Nothing's Shocking" t-shirt. That shit is boring and pointless so I started drawing naked women and, in a brilliant move by our educators, they sent me out of ISS and to the main office. Since I didn't have an escort I went straight to the gym and shot hoops until the school day ended.

I still like drawing naked ladies but what I drew back then was some Hustler worthy shit.
