If one can look beyond some of the issues with Jak II (difficulty spikes, driving around the city) there is a lot to like. Some of the best platforming levels of all time are in there. Bret loves his Ratchet & Clank but the best platforming level in the whole R&C series isnt as good as the tenth best Jak II platforming level.

$26 seems a little high for a Vita port. You can get the PS3 version for $20 easily.

GOG sale just got more awesome. FTL is $2.50. Fez is $5. Hotline Miami is $3.33 and a lot more. FTL is also $2.50 at the games main site.

That might be true trip, but I never wanted to snap my disc in half playing a Ratchet game.  It all would have been fine if they didn't try to turn Jak and Daxter into Grand Theft Auto.  Grand Theft Auto did so many things right I remember a good amount of games trying to copy their formula.  This gen it's Call of Duty.  I wonder what they'll try to copy next gen.

GTA did so many things wrong I'm glad all those games copied it and made it better(this is my obligatory GTA-bashing for the day)

The Bluray version of the Back to the Future Trilogy is 20 bucks @Target.

I've just watched it too and it's a good transfer, so I'd recommend picking it up.

Wow. That actually looks really nice.

I think Zero Escape is a nice PS+ bonus, I wish I had a Vita and + to play it. I'll probably get it on the 3DS. I played 999, which is the game that comes before Zero Escape and I highly recommend ZE. I heard it was great, the character models aren't the best thing ever but it's like 999 and I really love that game. If I had a DS Top 10, 999 would be on there.

There was a actually a special edition of Zero Escape that came with the watch from the games, if there was a time I fucked up on something, not getting that special edition was that time.

They put the watches themselves up for sale again at wherever they were selling their 1st party stuff. That was months back, but you might be able to track it down and see if it's still gravy.

I got stuck on an early puzzle in 999 and it really frustrated me. I can't tell what's clickable and not clickable and BAH! But I was enjoying the story...*sigh*

What puzzle did you get stuck on? But bad puzzles aside, the story and the characters is the reason I love the game.

The one in the kitchen. I found a thing with a code or something but I can't find the code. I think...it's been a long time but that might ring a bell?

Is the Vita version of PS All Stars free for everyone? When I was in the store yesterday it said free next to it, but didn't have the typical "you bought this already" icon yesterday. Didn't appear to be a demo or anything. Figured this was worth mentioning to anyone that doesn't have the game that may be interested. Keep in mind though I don't really know if it is truly free.

@Bret- I hope you jumped on that shit because it shows $39.99 PS3 and "Download" Vita. (I own the Vita version) Might be some kind of mistake?

I already have the vita version because I got the PS3 version. Normally when you have downloaded something it has that pink bag next to it indicating you bought it. Not sure what is happening wiht that.

I got Hydrophobia for free with plus a while back, and the game had some flaws, but it really wasn't that bad. It felt like a decent ps2 game.

I tried a little Hydrophobia and it felt quite... janky. I'll probably play some more though.

Managed to snag the collectors' edition of Project X Zone for the 3DS today. At $40, it's the same price as other new 3DS games, but at least they didn't charge an extra premium for the Collectors' Edition, so yay? Anyway it's pretty nice, and I'm glad I got to snag it before it became super-rare.

I've been playing around with Game Maker Studio (free version). The tutorial is pretty comprehensive and anyone who is used to Flash will grasp the concept pretty quickly. It's to actionscript what Dreamweaver is to HTML.

It's free and if you like it you can upgrade. Knowing you guys, you all are probably pros and I'm slow on the uptake. Fuck this forum and all of you intelligent assclowns.
