Top Five Most Annoying Enemies

Enemies we hate to fight. I'm more thinking for things that are obnoxious to battle because they have annoying habits or are too much of a hassle to take down. I guess they could also be annoying to listen to or something though so feel free to get creative. Could be a boss or a regular enemy.

Meh, sorry I missed this one, but I'll give it a try.

1. Big Bertha (Super Mario Bros 3). These giant fish in World 3 STILL piss me off! They kill you instantly even if you're powered up!

2. Medusa Heads (Castlevania series). Never fails, Konami always puts them where you're going through areas of narrow platforms where you'll die if you fall off. I think they intentionally designed these enemies to be annoying.

3. Lost Souls (Doom/Doom II). They make annoying noises, they smash into you and knock you off of platforms, and they attack in groups. And in Doom II, you have Pain Elementals that make more of these bastards.

4. Tonberries (Final Fantasy series). They always have ridiculous amounts of HP, they retaliate almost every time you hit them, and they OHKO you when they get too close to you. Like with the Medusa heads above, I think Square intentionally designed them to be very annoying.

5. Mirelurks (Fallout 3). They weren't particularly dangerous, but they were hard to kill and made underwater areas kind of suck. An honorable mention to the Feral Ghouls in the DC Metro tunnels.

Just for the record, this is an awesome topic I'm just having a hard time thinking of any.

Yeah I forgot about it after I couldn't think of any for a while. Off the top of my head I have

Brutes (Halo 2) - They probably aren't as bad as I remember them but coming from the series that gave me my favorite enemy set of all time, it was pretty disappointing to have these bullet sponge enemies that I just didn't enjoy at all

Wheel skeletons (Dark Souls) - There's a section that throws a ton of these dudes into a maze of narrow corridors, making it near impossible to pass through with my build. I hate them so much since then

Hammer throwing guys (any 2D Mario) - I sigh every time I encounter one of these guys

Anubis (Spelunky) - The sole redeeming feature of these guys is that you get an incredible weapon if you somehow manage to kill them. Even then, it's really easy to kill yourself with that weapon

I HATE those hammer guys (especially in Mario 3). I feel like their throwing is random (I'm sure it's not) but it's not super easy to get around and they jump around randomly and...yeah. Annoying.
