Chat Thread
Just making a fresh chat thread for any random stuff. I reconfigured the forum because there wasn't much point in having so many categories when we use so few threads. Let me know if there are any specific threads you want kept. I'm going to just throw everything else in the archive, but I can easily move anything back. So let me know if there is a thread you want pulled back from the archive.
Re: Chat Thread
I think keeping the bullshit thread around might be a good idea.

That's true. That thread doesn't come up often, but when it does it's a much needed outlet of aggression!
Trimming is all good though. I'm happy our little community has survived so long all things considered.

So getting promoted to a new site within my company where I'm gonna be setting all our security guidelines for the new contractor. My job hasn't been kind to me more often than not, so it's finally nice to see I'm getting rewarded for working hard. And best of all I'll make enough that I can move out and live comfortably in Orange County. Rent is outrageous in most parts of California

That moment when you quote someone (somewhat) conservatively for a day-rate and then find out he's a therapist in Manhattan.

Applied for a few jobs I really had no right applying to but hey, I feel proud that I updated my resume and tried anyway!

What's everyone been doing for workouts these days?
Are Trip and Greenie still capable of breaking me over their biceps?

I'm lifting three days a week. Doing cardio and sometimes abs on the others. I guess I'm just generally in a maintenance kind of phase which is a bit boring. I would like to cut a little more weight so my abs look a bit better, but that would really be pushing my diet a bit further not anything I'd have to change in my workouts. Otherwise I wish I had something more to strive for. I miss powerlifting. I would like to go to one of those Ninja Warrior gyms and try that out. Maybe use some of those as things to shoot for.
What about you Krubix? What have you been doing?

I've been only doing three days a week too of pull ups, squats, and chest press. Also run to the gym and back. Just don't have much time for it with my new job and long commute but gonna try to step my game up once I find somewhere affordable close to work.

Re: Chat Thread
I'm still doing Muay Thai 3 days a week usually. Would love to go more but Atlanta traffic means an hour commute 1 way in the evenings and maybe 35 minutes during the day. Haven't figured out cardio to supplement it (still) but I'm not too worried about supplementing my strength. I too could probably afford to clean up my diet in exchange for abs but...but...hamburgers.
But I still like it because I never lack something to work on or get better at. And I'm lucky in that I'm in a small gym training with one of the better fighters out there right now.
Proximity of gym is a bitch though. I couldn't even imagine making it work with a normal job.
