Top Ten for Best of Show at E3 (Base it on whatever you want)
1. Zelda- Looks like they're taking the series in the exact direction I wanted. Haven't been this excited for a Zelda since Twilight Princess. May even be more excited for it than I was for that.
2. Xenoblade Chronicles X- It looks like Knights of the Old Republic. Do I need to say anything else?
3. Sunset Overdrive- This looks like the most fun thing I've ever seen.
4. No Man's Sky- If they can pull it off, this baby's going to be game of the gen. That's a huge if though.
5. Scale Bound- Platinum just makes great games.
6. Batman Arkham Knight- I thought adding the Batmobile would be stupid. I was wrong
7. Kirby's Rainbow Curse- Sequel to Canvas Curse? Hell yeah!
8. Yoshi's Wooly World- Look at it. LOOK AT IT!!!
9. Far Cry 4- None of the linear, less awesome stuff from FC3 and all the stuff I liked made more awesome
10. Smash Bros- That pic just looks so right
Handheld Game of Show: There were handhelds? Seriously though, probably....Layton vs Wright got a release date right? Okay, I'll go with that.
Worst Game of the Show: Assassin's Creed: Whatever they're calling this one. For being a sequel to 3 and for giving SJW's something to bitch about
Game that didn't wow you as much as everyone else: Bloodborne. I need to see if this is the Demon's Souls stuff I hate or the Dark Souls stuff I love
Best Trailer: Zelda
These following awards don't have to necessarily be games, announcements of some kind are fine.
Best Hardware (could be a peripheral, not sure if this award is necessary this year): PS4 since it now has that show by Brian Michael Bendis
Platform with the Best Software Line-up Going Forward: I honestly have no idea, nor do I care. No matter which systems I own, 2015 is going to be amazing
Best Announcement: Zelda
Biggest Surprise: Grim Fandango remake
Biggest Disappointment: How bland this year looks compared to next
Best Graphics Technology (could be a tech demo or game): Batman probably wowed me the most
Rank the Conferences (Include EA and Ubisoft if you watched them):

Re: E3 2014 Awards
Already watched everything I felt like watching so I'll do my best
Top Ten for Best of Show at E3 (Base it on whatever you want)
1. Zelda WiiU
2. Sunset Overdrive
3. Bloodborne
4. No Man's Sky
5. Everything else by Nintendo except for Smash Bros
Handheld Game of Show: The Vita indie port drinking game
Game that didn't wow you as much as everyone else: Probably Batman. The city and batmobile looked cool at first but blasting things with a tank, aside from not looking very fun, feels so un-batman and it all looks so simplified and automated. Oooooooh slow motion. More like Batman's Casual Stroll than Batman Arkham Knight. And I've had enough Batman already anyway
Best Trailer: Sunset Overdrive
These following awards don't have to necessarily be games, announcements of some kind are fine.
Platform with the Best Software Line-up Going Forward: Tough call, but judging by exclusives alone the WiiU comes out on top for sure
Best Announcement: Bloodborne
Biggest Surprise: Splatoon and the Grim Fandango remake
Biggest Disappointment: The last Half-Life was released on October 10th, 2007
Best Graphics Technology (could be a tech demo or game): No Man's Sly

Re: E3 2014 Awards
I definitely agree Batman's getting old. The Lego Movie was kind of a slap in this dark Batman's face telling it to to stop being ashamed it was made for kids and to get over itself. Still, I did love Rocksteady's other games so I'll probably get it right away. Batman vs Superman on the other hand...

Top Ten for Best of Show at E3 (Base it on whatever you want)
1. Hyrule Warriors (Dynasty Warriors with Zelda mechanics, and PLAYABLE MIDNA)
2. Bayonetta (Whip boots, flamethrowerboots, a giant bow and MECHS)
3. Smash (we didnt really learn much more about it but all the gameplay they showed was great)
4. Devil's Third (I loved the look of it cover shooting with melee combat and sword throwing. The Online modes look pretty sweet too)
5. Mortal Kombat X (I actually really dig the character designs this time around. The Bug Woman, and giant riding loli look amazing. The concept of the story taking place over 25 years is pretty cool too)
6. Xenoblade Chronicles X (beyond the massive eyes characters have everything looks great and a JRPG with a customizable main character that is actually a part of the story)
7. Splatoon (an interesting take on 3rd person shooters, and its artstyle looks amazing)
8. Mario Maker (gonna fukin make theworst best levels and make you all play them)
9. Yoshi’s Wooly World (Yoshi’s story without the lame fruit mechanic sounds pretty good also holy hell that art style is brilliant
10. Final Fantasy Typo-0 HD (probably would higher if i had a Ps4 or Xbone)
I would put Zelda Wii U here but i cant with more being shown
Handheld Game of Show:
Smash 4
Worst Game of the Show:
Anything sports related keep that shit out of E3 we all known its coming
Game that didn't wow you as much as everyone else:

Uh Wii U GCN controller adapters maybe
Platform with the Best Software Line-up Going Forward:

Best Announcement:
Just in general everything for the Wii U

Devil’s Third actually existing and funded by Nintendo. Be interesting to see if Itagaki’s company sticks around Nintendo like Team Ninja did with the original Xbox

Best Graphics Technology (could be a tech demo or game):
Zelda Wii U

1. XENOBLADE CHRONICLES X!!!
2. Zelda
3. Little Big Planet 3
4. Yoshi's Wooly World
5. No Man's Sky (I hope this turns out good. It has space exploration and DINOSAURS. My childhood dreams come true!)
6. Smash Bros
7. Bayonetta 2
8. Dragon Age Inquisition
9. Sunset Overdrive (hijacking my brothers xbox for this one)
10. Splatoon (I love this games style, looks like so much fun. I'm not sure the gameplay is my kind of thing though, we'll see!)
Handheld Game of Show: uh.... Freedom Wars maybe.
Worst Game of the Show: I don't know, I don't pay much attention to games that don't immediately interest me.
Game that didn't wow you as much as everyone else: basically anything by Ubisoft lately
Best Trailer: Zelda I guess. What was shown was so beautiful, but I want to see more.
These following awards don't have to necessarily be games, announcements of some kind are fine.
Best Hardware (could be a peripheral, not sure if this award is necessary this year): no idea
Platform with the Best Software Line-up Going Forward: Wii U. I'm so happy with Nintendo right now, they did an amazing job this E3.
Best Announcement: Zelda made me roll around on my bed in excitement so... Yeah, Zelda.
Biggest Surprise: Grim Fandango and Type-0 HD. Can't wait for both (well, Type-0 in about five years or so...)
Biggest Disappointment: Square Enix. Always.
Best Graphics Technology (could be a tech demo or game): Honestly can't say I paid much attention to this. I might have to agree Batman looked ridiculous, I was impressed.
Rank the Conferences (Include EA and Ubisoft if you watched them):
1. Nintendo
2. Sony
3. Microsoft
4. Ubisoft (actually didn't bother watching this one but I'm sure it was better than EA)

Re: E3 2014 Awards
Here's mine:
Top Ten for Best of Show at E3 (Base it on whatever you want)
1. Uncharted 4: This made me the most excited. The graphics are incredible. The fact that it was 1080p at 60 fps running in realtime on a single PS4 is pretty astounding. What I was able to gather about the story and gameply from the trailer/interview is exactly where I'd want them going next with the series.
2. Zelda Wii U: This made me the second-most excited. Like UC4, it was a short look, but the open-world and traditional on-land Hyrule means this will give me the overworld I have been asking for for years now. The artstyle was also better than I could have imagined. It was absolutely gorgeous.
3. Far Cry 4: Probably the best showing of any game there. It's demo was great. Far Cry 3 with more verticality, more ways to traverse, vehicle takedowns, snow, and ride-able elephants. Looked amazing!
4. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris: All the things I loved about GoL plus two extra players, cool new tools and a great setting and mythology to delve into (Egyptian!).
5. Sunset Overdrive: Looks so damn fun. The exact kind of new IP I'd want from Insomniac. Love the way it ties combat and platforming together. Kind of feels like a better version of Infamous maybe.
6. LittleBigPlanet 3: Love the sack animals and greater depth (more layers) available in levels.
7. Ori and the Blind Forest: Story looked really touching and the gameplay seems to be actually pretty deep. Reminded me of Dust An Elysian Tail with more appealing character designs.
8. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker: Had no idea this kind of thing was in 3D World, so this was a great surprise. Short of crafting all new IPs (something Nintendo also did this year), I like them exploring new gameplay ideas with underutilized characters starring (like Luigi, Peach and Yoshi as opposed to Mario). So Toad getting a game is cool. Looks like a neat take on this sort of puzzle game too.
9. Yoshi's Wooly World: Love the artstyle (looks like a more cohesive version of LBP's), but I also like that this is utilizing classic Yoshi mechanics. Kirby's Epic Yarn was a bit disappointing. It also was clear it was a new IP morphed into a Kirby game. But Kirby does weird ideas all the time, so I think it was more understandable there. With Yoshi I'm glad they are staying true to the series to some degree.
10. No Man's Sky: I have some concerns, but it looks like it will be a blast to explore in this game.
I liked these too: Infamous: First Light, Mario Maker, Mirror's Edge, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Splatoon, Inside, Kirby, The Division, Master Chief Collection.
Handheld Game of Show: What a lame show for handhelds. I guess Smash 3DS? I expected the Vita to show next to nothing, but the 3DS line-up coming up is disappointing. I understand why they'd want to try and spend more time on the Wii U though.
Worst Game of the Show: God I don't know. Nothing jumped out at me. Maybe that fitness game at Ubi.
Game that didn't wow you as much as everyone else: I'll say Bloodborne, but I'm not really its target audience. Would have been cool if we got a better look at gameplay I guess.
Best Trailer: Uncharted 4
These following awards don't have to necessarily be games, announcements of some kind are fine.
Best Hardware (could be a peripheral, not sure if this award is necessary this year): Maybe one of those VR things I don't really care about. I don't know!
Platform with the Best Software Line-up Going Forward: I'll say PS4 reluctantly. I think Wii U has the best exclusive line-up, but without all the big multiplatform games, I'd put it behind PS4 and Xbone. Those are close, but I just prefer PS4's exclusives by a bit.
Best Announcement: LBP3. I should have expected this, but did not.
Biggest Surprise: Splatoon. Imagine if someone in the prediction thread said that one of the talks of the show would have been an online shooter on Wii U being developed internally at Nintendo. It would have surely sounded like a joke.
Biggest Disappointment: All the prototype footage at EA's conference seemed like a super weird decision. I get maybe doing it for Battlefront or Mirror's Edge so people don't get worried for a Last Guardian situation, but I have no idea why they'd show what they did of Mass Effect, Bioware's new IP or Criterion's game. They aren't trying to sell their console and need to tease the future. Super weird decision.
Best Graphics Technology (could be a tech demo or game): Uncharted 4 by a good margin.
Rank the Conferences (Include EA and Ubisoft if you watched them):
1. Nintendo: Just so many cool games. Great mix of classic franchises, new twists and new IPs.
2. Sony: It dragged in the middle, but I like a lot of what they showed. UC4 and LBP3 give it the slight edge over MS for me.
3. Microsoft: Perfectly paced. Just rolling out game after game. Lots of cool stuff too. Really like their exclusive line-up, surprisingly impressive from MS in that regard.
4. Ubisoft: Some cool games. Just nothing that blew me away. Far Cry 4 had a much better showing at Sony's conference too.
5. EA: Already talked about the weirdness, but I'm also just not interested in many of their games.
Best E3 in a long while. I loved it!

Top Ten for Best of Show at E3 (Base it on whatever you want)
Just doing a top 3, because these are the only three that got me legitimately excited. Everything else just look pretty cool to me.
1. Uncharted 4- I still absolutely love this series and just the thought of one last hurrah got me so excited.
2. Zelda - It was just a video, but it sure did look purrty!
3. Mortal Kombat X - It looks amazing and MK9 was a freaking blast and it looks like they took some stuff from Injustice that worked really well so I'm pretty stoked.
Handheld Game of Show: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire for 3DS. I'm a sucker for Pokemans, what can i say?
Game that didn't wow you as much as everyone else: Little Big Planet 3. The same frustrating floaty controls are still in the game. You could see one of the girls playing it on stage struggling with it... just makes me want Mario Maker that much more.
Best Trailer: I thought the Zelda trailer was pretty sick, but it the Uncharted one got me the most excited, because I know Naughty Dog will actually deliver on the potential of Uncharted 4, where with Zelda... Skyward Sword has me skeptical.
These following awards don't have to necessarily be games, announcements of some kind are fine.
Platform with the Best Software Line-up Going Forward: I'd probably say Nintendo just for first-party stuff alone... but overall PS4.
Best Announcement: Mario Maker - I wouldn't ever spend a lot of time making levels, but I think it will be awesome to see where everyone else creates.
Biggest Surprise: Splatoon... I never expect new Nintendo IP's. It just doesn't feel right. But the game looks pretty fun.
Biggest Disappointment: That they barely showed anything about Battlefront and Mass Effect. Fucking EA. Get your shit together.
Best Graphics Technology (could be a tech demo or game): Uncharted 4. Nathan Drake never looked so dreamy!
Rank the Conferences (Include EA and Ubisoft if you watched them):
1. Nintendo
2. Sony
3. M$
4. Ubi
5. EA
