Unless you're working in paper goods and chemicals, the only other thing it could be is maintenance.

Yeah, I think right before the holidays is the best time to look for jobs... especially in retail. Either that or right before the school year starts.

I hope it works out for you, because I'd like to have a fellow Wal-Mart human hater on here who could relate with my problems.  

My worst customer today was actually a family.  Inbred mom and dad were looking at X-Box systems to buy for their inbred children.  They told the children to go away.  While I was explaining the difference between the two systems (that was obviously going over their head about games, color of the system, and GB) the inbred children came back to see what mom and pop were up to.  Another inbred that was there (maybe an older inbred sister?) started screaming about this is why they never get any presents.  I don't need to watch the Twilight Zone, I fucking live it.

My friend from high school and co-worker said this to me yesterday.  "I only got a 2.4 GPA in high school and I never took college classes, but I'd say I go weeks before I help anyone that I feel might be smarter than me."  I couldn't agree more.

Since it is the holiday season, maybe I'll pick out my least favorite customer every day that I work and share the story.

In other work-related news, I have been offered a QA job by my company that will mean a small raise in pay and a relocation to Baltimore, Maryland.

But i'm kind of with what you're saying Bret I am pretty sure the customers will be much much worse than my superiors especially during this time of year i kind of hope im in the back sweeping or something tbh lol

Management gets worse as time goes on, but I'm sure that's the same everywhere. Unless your heart is 100% behind the job, I think you'll typically always feel management is useless.

Customers will boil your blood. Seeing you rant on twitter from time to time I wonder how you might handle it. I'm pretty good at keeping my cool.
