Brooklyn Nine-Nine Discussion

I know a bunch of us are watching this here, so going to try and make a thread for it. Hopefully we can discuss it weekly.

I loved the opening this week with Peralta calling Holt dad.

Yeah, that was really funny. Even though it came out of nowhere (unless I missed something) I really liked that Jake and Gina have a lot of history together. There's potential for some great plots in that.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that did come out of nowhere but like you said it worked. Though I guess the actors were friends when they grew up oddly enough:

That's pretty cool. I'm hoping for flashbacks from when the two were children. Also Hitchcock and Scully seem to have been getting so much funnier each episode.

Is it just me, or does this show get better every week? It seems like every episode they write a plot with two characters that haven't had screen time together and its always hilarious.

Rosa and the Captain's plotline was pretty awesome this past week.

Still have no clue how they get so many good jokes out of Holt. Any other writer and he'd be the no fun guy.

Forgot to post last week in here too. Jake was hilarious while undercover. Really liked the cutaways to what he missed when he returned too. Great episode.
